Tareq Rajab Museum is home to many rare artistic items that belong to the Islamic culture. Tareq and his wife went all across the Islamic civilization to collect over 30,000 items. Furthermore, the collection includes many vintage items that are related to a variety of fields. Tareq passed away four years ago, leaving his museum to his British wife, who dedicated her life to the study of human societies. Their love of art gathered them on a long-term journey that took about a century and concluded with a masterpiece. They named it Tareq Rajab Museum and opened its doors to the public in 1980. Unfortunately, the museum isn't known widely in Kuwait nor the inspiring story behind it. In my opinion, it should be considered a landmark in Kuwait.

The House of Mirrors was the home of the plastic artist, Khalifa Al Qattan. After his death, his Italian wife collected the pieces of glass he made and adorned the house with them from the inside and outside. After that, the house became an artistic landmark in Kuwait. The museum is basically the house of the late Khalifa Al-Qattan, and his wife Lydia lives in it until now. The art in this house dates back more than 20 years. His story is beautiful as Lydia left a great imprint on her husband and makes the world remember him for perhaps the next 100 years. I hope to visit it soon.

Museum of Modern Art is an art museum located in Kuwait City which is the Capital of Kuwait. In 1939, the building was built to mainly house the Alsharqyia school which was one of the oldest schools in Kuwait that the deceased Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah studied in. In 2003, the building had been restored to become the Museum of modern art. The museum contains many creative productions of art which are distributed in a wonderful manner. The rooms, which were used to be classrooms, have became showrooms that introduce a collection of modern art including paintings made by Kuwaiti and international artists, such as Jassem Elbloushi. Due to the fact that the museum contains multiple arts from a variety of fields and that I am interested in paintings, I would like to visit the museum.

Art existed since humans existed, and its definition has been changing over the eras. However, the most accurate definition is something beautiful made of fiction and talent, or something that expresses emotions. Furthermore, people mainly practice art to express feelings, imagination, and beauty. Moreover, art acts as many things, for example, architecture, painting, literature, music, and performance. Art usually gets collected in museums so the public can access it. In our project, we carefully selected four extraordinary museums that you will find interesting in Kuwait.
