Listening

1)
I woul prefer combination of authentic listening materilas and tasks and activities in coursebook. I choose both because in coursebooks listening text are generally choosen according the students level and they are related to the target subject so that give us time for preparing another activites. I mean we can support course book listenig activities with the authentic materials in pre-listening and post listening parts

2) The ideas about developing more active listening skills in todays sessions would appropiriate and useful in my classroom. When the students see the listening part in the book they are afraid of it and they back of. They think they won't understand anything from text. By developing active listening skills as we did today's session we encourage both stronger and weaker students for learning. As I see even we show that listening is the easiest and enjoyable part of language.

1)The most common problem in my district related to speaking in language classes is un willigness of students. Because they are not aware of the reasons why do they speak in English. They think or They feel they don't need to speak in English. They always ask us Why do you speak in English or why they have to speak English. So that make our teaching process very difficult.
2) With the todays activities and suggestions we can cope with that particular problem substantially.Because something that we learned today was very important. Real life conditions. That means with the todays activities and suggestions students will have a goal for speaking. If they have a reason they will start to fight
Also using digital materials for speaking activities is great idea for me. Because in my district students have the chance of using digital materials. So they can use that materials by doing their homework and project by themselves. So they can use the language outside the class. Because they need English. They have got an aim for speaking. So that support our teaching process in a very good aspect.

I think flipped clasroom learning is useful for classes in our context. We have not got too much time in our courses. So we had better apply flipped clasroom learning in our reading class. Also as I said before and I support to use language learning outside the classroom. I think we can do it by using flipping classroom learning. We have to engage students with the English as much as we can and reading can be a good tool for it
2) Before the session we could ignore the order of the reading tasks. Even we had to change the place of basic reading activities for accomplishing the task. In this session I realized that by using flipped clasroom learnin for example by giving detailed reading as a homework task and giving blocking words in the clasroom as a pre -reading task will gain us alot of time and it will be more useful. I think my
colleques have this problem and they will find these useful.

1)I found very useful ideas and approaches about writing instructions in todays session. We can combine and use in our writing sessions and complete their weakness by using other approaches. But snack writing approach affect me most. Students also carry and use language outside on the classroom. Also snack writing is short and regular. If we do something regular it will be more effective.
2)I think my colleques would be most interested in different writing approaches, differenttation, peer correction in wriring . Also they would like the suggestion s about correcting mistakes. Because we learnt very different and useful tecniques and ideas about correcting in writing.

Grammar

In my areas I think guided and grammar activities would be most useful in our area. When we give the grammar rules directly, it will be good for timing but it is temporary. If we use inductive techniques students will learn it. By using freer activities also, students can make their own learning.
2) I think my colleques would want to discuss obout using d2ducrive or inductive methods in the clasroom. Because they think they don't have for inductive learning. As for me our priorities should be inductive learning and differentation in teaching grammar. If we are careful about that points both weaker and stronger students can reach the information easily and learning will be occur. For example in the session we digitalized the grammar subjects I think it was very interesting and effective.
VOCABULARY
1)I think while teaching vocabulary we should use technology particularly games.
We use technology for teaching vocabulary in todays sesion. By using games students can be responsibĺe their own learning. Because they have fun and Learning will be permament.
2)
I generally use picture dictioanary as a homework task and class task while
teaching vocabulary. I can say what came to your mind When I say ... . Whatever you think just draw it opposite the word to your notebook. Then they remember the meaning of the words when they look at to their notebooks . In additon to this they prepare some small games about the these words and they play it in the class.
They can do it at home also.
See you

Assesment

1) I think the biggest and most common problem in my area related to assesment is feedback. We could not have time for giving feedback for the students. We are generally doing assesment for giving a grade. So the students sometimes don't know what did they do wrong.
2) I don't think peer assesment would solve some local problems in my area. Because parents in my district don't like this kind of assesment. As a solution for this problem we can use activities by not giving the name. While assessing students won't know who he or she will assess. For doing this assessment we need product like self-assessment diary or portfolio etc.
PDC...
1)The gratest benefit of being in PDC for teachers in my local area in sharing information among English teachers. Because teaching english is very different from teaching a specific subject. Sometimes we have difficult problems and nobody understand us. So we feel alone. Thanks to pdc we understand that we are not alone.
2)We learnt many things from our facilitators and shared alot of things with our colleques I think we will help each other for our Pdc in our own idea. Then we will try to do same things for our colleques in our districts.
3) Thanks to the Pdc sessions in here we learnt that how we should do plan an conduct our Pdc meeting. If we make a good planning by using our experiences in here we would have a good sharing athmosphere with our colleques.🌸🌸🌸
