Personal faith is to believe in oneself and religious belief is to believe in and rely on an entity or divine power.

For this question, I really think it depends on the person. Some humans are always trying to care and help other humans. Some humans put other people before themselves. On the other hand, some humans care about self-preservation and put themselves first. An example of someone who is caring toward another is usually mothers. Mothers tend to put their children first and always do what is best for them, even if it means putting themselves in harm. Self-preservation is what most people most likely lean towards. People usually lean this way because humans most of the time want what is best for them. For example, when there is only one piece of bread left a human will take it because they want it knowing that somebody else may also want it. Overall, I think humans are generally concerned with self-preservation, with some exceptions of caring toward one another.

I believe that all humans are generally caring toward one another it is just that some people show it more than others. Many may say that humans are concerned with self-preservation, which can be true to a point because we were always taught to do whatever it takes to survive, even if that means nor caring for others. However, deep down I feel as though everyone is caring toward others even if it is just toward one person. Some people care for larger groups of people, while others could care for just one other person like a family member. For example, people who have started non-profits to help homeless care for a larger group of individuals.

However, it can also be misleading if in the end you weren’t getting what you were hoping for, you were just getting your hopes up. In life I hope to be successful in my career and for good health for the people I care about.

At times humans can be caring toward one another but eventually, someone tries to have more power than another person and that’s when humans stop caring about one another. Greed is a natural human trait and when a person gets power they don’t want anyone else trying to get power as well. This is seen throughout history with monarchs and emperors.

Faith is the idea of putting trust and reliance into someone or something. Religious faith is much different than personal faith. Religious faith refers to one’s belief in a sacred concept or authoritative god-like figure, while personal faith pertains more to self-confidence in terms of one’s ability to carry out tasks and/or follow instructions. Blind faith is the belief in someone or something without any official proof that said someone or something is worthy of that faith. Blind faith is the spearhead of many atheists’ arguments against Christianity, because they believe there is no evidence of Jesus Christ's existence besides the bible, which was written by humans. For me, A loss in faith is similar to a loss in dependability and trust. I would lose faith in someone if they were never reliable, or if they turned out to be different than I expected, in a negative way of course.

JP - One thing that sets humans apart from animals is our emotional capabilities. In the wild, animals only do things to survive, like eat and drink. But humans do things for other people to make them feel better. This makes us different from animals. However, sometimes instincts appear in regular life circumstances. For instance, a mother has the instinct to feed her children, just like an animal would in the wild.

EV- I believe that hope is necessary for human survival. When one loses hope, they lose the drive to live and look out for themselves. Without hope, there’s nothing for a person to look forward to in life. Hope can be misleading, though. When a person is in a bad situation, they can fabricate ideas and things to look toward when their situation ends. When they do get out and realize that what they were hoping for wasn’t real, it can be discouraging. As for my hopes, I hope that I get into a good teaching college and eventually, make it to a good school where I can pass on knowledge to the new generations.

Someone can display power over someone else if they tell them to do something as if they are the boss or if they protect the other person. Men have more power in a household because they protect their family the majority of the time if there is an intruder.

This question is very controversial, it simply depends on the person. We all grow up in different environments and learn to grow in different ways. The ways we grow up impact how we view ourselves and each other. Some people try to do what's best for everyone, and put others before themselves, however others put themselves before other people and only do what they think is best only for themself. An example of a caring individual would be people who create fundraisers or organizations that help certain people who are in need. An example of self preservation would be a situation involving a group of people who may be hungry or starving, and are given a single piece of food. That one piece of food is then stolen by one individual, simply because they put themselves first.

The strongest bonds that people have created are through trust and respect for each other. I feel like to have a really strong bond people need to know and interact with each other over a long period of time. Strong bonds are also made from challenges and difficult situations. I think parents and kids have strong bonds and people in the military also have strong bonds because they go through difficult situations and need to rely and trust each other. I think there are no bonds that are unbreakable because one situation can lead to them not liking and trusting each other.

The strongest bonds are created over time. You need time to really know who someone is. When you become friends with someone they may hide some of their qualities to make you like them and overtime, as they become more comfortable with you, they will start to show their qualities. Over time you will know if they are loyal to you or not. A person who does not know your secrets can’t expose you or tell anyone but over time as you let each other in, you will see if that person respects your secrets and stays loyal to you or if they tell others and don’t really care about you. Time will tell if you open up and become comfortable with each other and if you can trust that person enough to tell them all the things going on in your life. No bond is unbreakable, the closest thing you may find to an unbreakable bond is family but even then it can be broken. You hear a decent amount of stories about how people are distant from their parents or siblings and don’t talk to them. Even in marriage, people get divorced, it may seem like forever, but over time you see it was not meant to be. Friends come and go, no bond is unbreakable.

Depending on the person it could be one or the other. For example in a time like now many people have turned to self-preservation by stocking up on supplies and not carrying about others. The Pandemic has gotten to their head and then they spread this fear of not self-preserving and now stores are completely sold out. However, there are people who focus more on caring for others rather than themselves. An example is those who volunteer to go to third world countries and help the American Red Cross or other relief efforts.

CC: The strongest bonds with others are created during difficult times. When someone stay with another person through a dark time in life, motivating and giving hope, deep rooted connections are made. Those who stay and love one when they have shared secrets and parts of themselves they do not like are the ones that will create special bonds. However, there is no bond that cannot be broken. Once trust and respect is broken, a relationship will crumble. Humans put emotions into their relationships, but they can remove them if they are hurt or pushed to the edge. Even in families, bonds can be broken from abuse, and lack of understanding and respect. With marriages, divorce and hatred can be created from something that was once pure. There are bonds that are strong and can get through tough times, but they are also fragile. If a bond is strained enough, it will break. Keeping them strong requires love, respect, effort, and most importantly, the understanding that bonds do break if one is not careful.

Humans are generally more concerned with self-preservation rather than caring for each other, but this opinion also depends on the circumstance. Typically, though, humans care more about their own well-being than others, and in extreme circumstances such as trying to survive, people will do what they can to make sure that they survive. People are selfish and tend to think of themselves before trying to help others. Humans can be caring towards other people, but usually, they care about themselves first. For example, if a house was burning down, someone would care if they could get out before wondering if it is safe to go back in to save others, and if it is not safe, they most likely will not go back to save anyone (yes, an extreme circumstance, but it can and does happen). The idea of psychological egoism is the idea of humans being motivated to be inherently selfish even when it seems like they care for others. People can certainly be willing to do good for others, but that usually goes against how they actually feel or think, which is usually some form of self-centeredness; even if they want to do good things for a group, it goes against or fuels their own selfish interests. Therefore, humans generally care more about themselves rather than others.

Yes, when something detrimental happens that is permanent, it could be considered unforgivable. For example, if someone is the cause of the death of another, most would consider that unforgivable. Something like this could cause someone to not be able to look at that person the same way ever again and deem them unforgivable. Permanence means there is no room to change and even attempt to make things right because nothing done will ever amount to the original.
