When you tell the truth, it's always going to be better. If you're honest it will be better in the long run, for example, if you get in trouble and lie, not only are you in trouble for lying but now you're in bigger trouble for lying. It takes less effort to tell the truth than to lie. Everybody has a different look, sometimes we miss judge someone by their looks without knowing them. We try to judge people and see what they're like without knowing or having knowledge of them.
