I believe that peer review is an effective and very valid means for our learning as we receive some good suggestions for improvements and also allows us to have access to other jobs and get ideas for working with our students. The rubrics help us a lot to carry out this review, so they are a fundamental tool. I already have some experience in this type of work and I really believe in its value.

Peer assessment, whatever the case is, student-student, teacher-teacher, can be very enriching when done in an honest, unbiased, structured way. Furthermore, Learning is enhanced when students have contributed to their marking criteria and Assessing is a good way to achieve deep learning.
When it comes to students, sometimes they are shy and do not want to hurt their colleagues' feelings - but, if the guidance is clear, making sure they rely on a positive critical approach and assessment, it will work.
I have some experience in both peer assessment as I've worked together with other teachers (for 3 years): same and also different subjects.
Peer feedback allows to effectively communicate ideas and suggestions.

I have experience on peer assessment on various Distance Learning Environments and courses.

Rule number 1 : be as polite as you can be, or say nothing

Rule number 2 : give some of your precious time to the assessment to comment. This boosts both your value and your peer’s value.

Peer assessment is really fundamental for the professional growth. for many MOOCS peer assessment is obligatoty so I am used to it. I always write honest positive reviews to help others improve their LS if I can make a few suggestions and thank everybody for sharing. Assessment is quite helpful and must be implemented with respect and politeness.

Peer assessment is for me more understandable in the assessment of scientific articles. I also use this in my gymnasium. We visit each others' lessons and assess them following the strict structure of the lesson - whi has the assessment criteria based on the time, curriculum, content management, ict tools used, relevance concerning the set aim, psychological climate in the classroom, etc. It is my irst MOCCS so here I am new in the peer assessment. I hope to learn and develop personally more. In my case accepting and delivering peer assessment is based on the professional approach, respect and politeness. To my mind, doesn't matter if peer assessment takes place in a daily routine job - lessons or here - these are challenges leading as forward.

I think I am ready to evaluate my colleagues. This is a procedure already known from various courses at Teacher Academy and I am already familiar.
Peer evaluation among teachers / students is mutually beneficial. Teachers of different subjects appreciate each other, as it is not necessary to be an expert on a specific topic to comment on pedagogical activities or how to implement the blended learning approach. In such an activity we learn from the experiences of other colleagues as well as from the comments, their suggestions that we should keep in mind to adjust in the future.

I don't have a lot of experience with peer assessment as a teacher. However I know it from other activities and agree that peer assessment can be very motivating and useful. There are two opposite aspects to it: at one side I feel very stressed for assessment by colleagues, at the other side it usually turns out to be constructive, to the point and helpful. Also I find that evaluating my colleagues is very revealing of my own way of working. I recongnize my own weaknesses in others and so this peer assessment is also a kind of self assessment.

I do not have much experience in evaluating my own colleagues. I have rarely had this opportunity. I find that even when it was necessary, the evaluation had a constructive role, not a corrective one. I support the idea that we are constantly learning from each other and that, regardless of experience, it is always a place to learn. I am both a teacher at a vocational college and an educator for prospective teachers. At my school peer assessment of our lesson plans and getting insight into our colleagues´ lessons is one of the important tools for school devellopment. As a consequence this is also an important topic of the training for future teachers alongside with a systematic self reflection. In my cross curricular student`s groups I have got teachers representing a wide range of subjects. To my mind it is even better not to be an expert concerning the subject to start a fruitful peer assessment. It is much more interesting to focus on pedagogical topics without focussing on the subjects only.

In my opinion peer assessment may be useful as it gives a teacher a chance to see things from a different angle (perhaps after getting feedback from a colleage a teacher will notice how the same things can be done in a different way). Every year I encourage students to evaluate my work, but I have never been evaluated by peers. Nor have I evaluated any of my colleagues. In fact, I think that part of the problem in our country is that a teacher's job is not usually evaluated. And it should: by ourselves, and by others, in order to make a better job every year.

Peer assessment is a powerful tool. It can help you being a better teacher in two ways: if you are assessing the others' work you can also learn from their work and get a good, creative and easily-implemented idea for your own; if you are being assessed by others you can get a good feedback wherther your work is good, not good or it should have been changed. This is the best way of learning from others.
There is always a slight possibility of presence of vanity, but if you really want to be a good teacher, the vanity shouldn't exist neither when you are assessing someone's work, neither when someone is asessing yours. If you are not a good colleague you also can not be a good teacher.
I'm ready to comment my colleagues' work and also to learn from them by reading it or having my work assessed. I don't have much of the official peer assesment, but I use unofficial peer assessment in my everyday work not only as the one who does assess, but also as the one who gets it.

I’m not usually assessed by my peers, apart from those formal moments every few years to progress in my career. But I think it is a very important tool and aspect in teaching, sharing ideas and getting feedback.

I often practice assessment in my classes, even if an informal one. I often ask my students to assess each other’s work as well as my own teaching. By telling me what is (not) working for them, what they struggle with the most, what activities appealed to them the most, as well asking them for suggestions of topics/activities they would like me to include if possible, it is a win-win situation: we all develop our critical thinking and problem solving skills and practices can improve as a result.

Hopefully, I will be able to assess my peers properly and improve my skill through this interaction.

Peer assessment is a great tool of formative assessment - it is less formal, puts less pressure on the assessed person, yet gives him/her enough feedback and different angle of view of their work. I have tried it and continue to use it in the class - took some time for the students to get used to it and start taking it seriously and objectively, but at the end of the day it turned out to be very valuable.

I am still a little bit dazzled by the Learning Designer tool, which I do not master entirely.
Regarding peer assessment, it is a nice idea but it might be challenging with totally different subjects! :)
I have experienced it before, but we were all teachers of languages.

I've experienced peer assessment when I was a trainee and in the Teacher Academy courses. It's a great support when you are learning, because it makes you reflect and consequentely you become better. It's very enriching, when you get acquainted to others' plans, ways of teaching and dealing with students. Even if you assess lesson plans from other subject than yours it's a very inspiring job. It should be a frequent practice in our schools: to attend and discuss others' lessons. We would learn a lot with it for sure!

I have beend useing peer acessement in training for teachers in Madeira on "Digital skills for distance learning". Colleagues share their work in a padlet and everyone commentedm the works of each aother In the last sessions, the works were presented on the zoom platform and then there was a small debate about the works. They were asked to comment on what they have learned in each work and to give suggestions for improvement.

Here in my school peer assessment between teachers happens, at least once a year and I think it’s very important to have feedback from your peers to introve your teaching since it can be very constructive.

I feel ready for peer assessment. It isn't my first learning experience here, so I already was given peer feedback and also gave peer feedback to other participants. With a rubric it is easier to follow the necessary steps and content for our own work and also for assessing our peers. It is a very good possibility to "open" your classroom ideas and discuss them with peers. Same can be with students' work being assessed by their peer students. It is a fruitful assessment method and gives us the possibility in class to be a guide more than a teacher to our students and let them work more on their own as it should be more and more nowadays.

It is important that we can count on the evaluation of colleagues, an external perspective helps us to better understand the context of the interdisciplinary approach to knowledge and the practices used by each of us. Peer assessment can provide a structured learning process for equal status colleagues to critique and provide feedback to each other on their work. I've done some of these courses and peer assessment sometimes is usefull and sometimes it isn't. It depends on the critical analyses our peers make of our work. Not always there is enough time or patience to look for improvement suggestions. On the other hand, reading learning scenarios gives us a lot of new ideas but sometimes I don't have suggestions to make improvement suggestions and the author may be frustrated because he/she only gets compliments....

I find it a very useful activity to share ideas and have a confrontation with colleagues I would never have the chance to meet otherwise. From my point of view, I may not be right, not to use the term peer evaluation, but rather to use the term peer suggestions. Self-assessment and peer-assessment are very frequently used in my classroom. I try to use self-assessment in various forms (thumbs up/down, traffic lights, exit tickets, etc.) after every lesson. I use peer-assessment when students present their projects. I started using these methods last year and I think they are very useful for both the teacher and the students. I have also tried peer-assessment when evaluating someone`s work. I usually try to praise and avoid harsh criticism. On the other hand, I like to hear my colleagues` comments because they help me become a better teacher. :)

I think that nowadays the teacher work must be collaborative. So, peer assessment among teachers is something very common.
I think the benefits are much more important than the weaknesses that may exist in this process. When we be able to evaluate a peer is much more easy to understand the way that another one can evaluate ourselves.
This exchange of evaluations is very useful for the development of collaborative work.
I used it with my colleagues and I think it can be very usefull for the education process, but, unfortunatelly, sometimes the peer assessment in not very "well looked" for the peers.
With my students I used a lot of times and I think it can be very important to improve theis knowledge.

I haven't had much experience with peer assessment so far, at least not in such a structured manner. I 've only been asked to make oral comments on my colleagues work a couple of times or had my work briefly commented on by them. It was all part of a very informal, friendly process. I must say it did help me, though. After studying the rubric, I believe that I will be able to assess my peers work in a more specific way and provide them with constructive feedback on their BL scenario as I hope they will do on mine.

I have accessed other peers' work before, but normally within the same subject. I have only reviewed other subjects in teacher training courses.
Both give us different prospects: when we assess our own subject, we tend to pay a lot of attention on the scientific quality. When we 🤬 a different subject, we pay much more attention to the flow of the class, the engagement of the students.
I am also a teacher trainer, so assessing other people's work is not new, neither is having people see what I do. I actually find it stimulating to find out how other people do things and if they can give me some pointers, I'd really appreciate it.

I have no problem whatsoever in receiving feedback on my work, as I believe we can only improve if we know what we’re doing wrong or how to improve what we are already doing well. So, I have no problem also in doing the same to others. I always give my very best to contribute to other people’s lesson plans, resources, pedagogical or methodological techniques and I do have people asking for my opinion. Besides being a teacher of English I’m a also teacher of Didactics at a university and one of my jobs is precisely helping junior teachers to improve and be the best teachers they can. I think peer assessment is important. I don't have experience but I have already done it in a MOOC course, although the subject was not as complex as this is. It can be a good way to improve our work and have a different perspective on it. Sometimes it might not be easy to plan according to the full extent of our ideas because we are so involved with the process. Peers can be more impartial and objective since they are not aware of what we want to do. Peer assessment is working in two ways: you are learning when receiving it and also by giving it. But everyone should be very careful about giving feedback (feed-back) - because it should be more feed-in and feed-fwd. Peer assessment among teachers can have many benefits. I assessed my colleagues' work in a webinar that took place a few days earlier in a MOOC environment. To help students monitor their progress, it is very useful to prepare a to-do list/checklist for them to tick. Explain the merits of such assessment and coach them on how to use it before they start working on the project. Students can also participate in preparing an assessment rubric. From my own experiences, I can say that peer feedback is a good way of walking the path of learning. I was 6 years old when I went to the Netherlands and didn't speak Dutch and I asked my friends to help me improve my writing later on.. I used to write them letters and would ask them to check my work and give it back to me so I could see my mistakes (I think I was about 10 when I did this). So, peer feedback helped me a lot to learn a new language. Getting feedback from a teacher was always possible, but I was able to get a lot more feedback when I "used" my friends. Also, the language that a fellow student uses, the perspective is sometimes a lot more useful than that of a teacher.
