Some animals are genetically carbon copies of humans, making test results more accurate.

It gives scientists the opportunity to examine an animal's life cycle more closely. They study the animal through research and experiments to see what may affect the life cycle of that animal.

Experimenting animals can be expensive.

Animal research is regulated by the law. Some of these laws include:
-Animals must be sheltered in a shelter with minimum housing standards, like the right size enclosure and food and water nearby.
-The animals and their enclosures must be inspected regularly
