    • Take action by practicing one or more coping skills (B-SMS 1)

Based on your opinion, how do you think that timing may have impacted the results of the lesson?

• For consistency, I believe the Mindful Movement dance along either needed to be given before BOTH the pre and post assessment OR not have the dance along at all. Giving the post assessment after the dance along could have affected results given by students.

  
  

What are some ways you would modify the lesson plan to align with your creativity, knowledge of the ASCA National Model, and skillset?

• For the 2nd grade level, assessment is wordy and complex

• I would simplify questions and answers would be pictures shown

  • I understand my feelings

  • I can name my feelings

  • I get in trouble for how I show my feelings

  • I know when my feelings will change my behavior

  • I know how to calm down

• I would separate lessons to ensure mastery and understanding of each concept
