It is used on a compass, especially when you need to go in a certain direction. You can use trigonometry if you want to calculate a point in the ocean with a different point which can be the coastline or even another coordinate in the ocean.          <description><![CDATA[<div>1) Trigonometry is used within the department of criminology, where forensic scientists use the measurement of triangles to analyze the direction of blood splattering. Moreover, the use of tig can also help determine if the origin is from one or more sources. It’s also used for ballistic calculations determining the angle where it was shot, where it was bounced, the distance from shooter to target, and the shotman height. All this information are used in the department for the scientist to determine the cause of murder like if they pushed or if they accidentally killed themselves by falling.</div><div>2)https://www.irishtimes.com/news/science/a-forensic-formula-for-solving-crimes-1.2425640&nbsp;<br>3) I chose to see the use of trig in criminology since it remarked to me that it doesn’t nearly mark a triangle that you draw or visually see, but how geometric shapes are present in our surroundings can be used to understand our surroundings and why incidents occur. Another way that music uses trig is in production. They use many different computer programs in order to do this. The computer programs can allow a producer to see the sound waves that have been recorded as different types of graphs. These graphs are made using trig equations.          <description><![CDATA[<div>As I was researching about trigonometry I came past this article which said all the things trigonometry can be applied in our everyday and it came to by attention a part about trigonometry being used in the manufacturing industry. Trigonometry plays a major role in industry, I read it allows manufacturers to create everything from automobiles to zigzag scissors. Engineers in the industry rely on trigonometric relationships to determine the sizes and angles of mechanical parts used in machinery, tools and equipment. This math is a major role in automotive engineering, allowing car companies to size each part correctly and ensure they work safely together. <br><a href="https://sciencing.com/use-trigonometry-architecture-6631509.html">https://sciencing.com/use-trigonometry-architecture-6631509.html</a> <br>I enjoyed learning about this because I am a big fan of cars and knowing trigonometry is a big part of making them makes me want to learn more about trigonometry.&nbsp;I don’t see myself particularly using it but it does interest me to help me understand more the designs of the car, etc. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.&nbsp; While searching online, I found that trigonometry could be used in astronomy. Since, it's often used to find the distance to nearby stars and other celestial objects using a method of parallax. Parallax can be defined as the apparent shift of a nearby star against the fixed background that can be noticed as the Earth orbits the Sun. Though astronomy has been in existence for thousands of years, it is only recently that trigonometry has been used in the process. And since then, astronomers can't work without it. An example of this could be; to find the distance from Venus to the Sun, astronomers used trigonometry, the Earth, the Sun and Venus form a triangle.<br><br>2.<br>https://prezi.com/npsmztfytcxp/trigonometry-and-astronomy/?frame=d0a38095a572551d258e21ed71357cce1382751e<br><br>3. While searching online, I found various ways that trigonometry could be applied, however I was looking for something more original.&nbsp; After a while I found an article regarding the use of trigonometry in Astronomy, and so I did a little more research about it finding the information stated before.  Although anything regarding space and the unknown has always spooked me out, I found interesting how people found the distance between two planets, it's not like they can take a measuring tape to space. I hardly think I study astronomy in a future or have anything to do with it, however, for this assignment it was fascinating finding this information.</div>]]></description>

Electromagnetic waves always move at the same rate and speed. they reach maximum and minimum points in their movement. These waves have frequency and wavelength. Electromagnetic radiation moves around the air. Trigonometric functions serve to determine the frequency and wavelength; it is used to understand the wave's motion and thus also understand its effects. The longer the wavelength, the less strong it is. Furthermore, trigonometry is also used with light waves. These differ slightly because the different sizes of the wavelengths of these waves show off a different color to the human color. Trigonometry can also be used in construction to calculate structural load, roof slopes, ground surfaces, and many other aspects, including sun shading and light angles. It's easier to create and modify computer graphics when you know how to calculate angles, the distance between points, how to work and create arcs, circles, and lines. For example when an engineer determines the length of cables, the height of support towers, and the angle between the two when gauging weight loads and bridge strength he is using trigonometry to find the accurate angles. As a result, when trig comes up in school, many students just want to get it over with. Trigonometric functions are used in the majority of games to get desirable results. Various trigonometric functions are commonly used in order to compute the angle of a triangle with a 900-degree corner. The locations and speeds of the items should be inscribed as X and Y while building a game. However, triangles are employed to calculate the values of locations and speeds, and trigonometry is required to determine the value of x and y so that the game can run. You can solve complicated design challenges and come up with novel and creative solutions using trigonometry. Here I learned that trigonometry heavily influences surveying since it is needed for most of their measurements of things such as lengths, areas and relative angles between objects. In addition that if we view the bigger picture of surveying, that being geography, it is still utilized to measure things such as distance between landmarks.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>
