He wrote the books: Dragon Teeth, Oil!, King Coal, The Brass Check. etc. His book The Jungle, gained particular fame because he discusses conditions the meat industry is doing in the US. Upton's writings had a very strong stance on them that talked about problems in everyday life, such as his novel Oil. Oil was about the Teapot Dome scandal, and his other novel The Wet Parade, which is about the tragedy of alcoholism. Upton also wrote jokes in News paper adds, and he wrote adventure stories for Pulp magazines.

Socialist: A socialist app would definitely be on Upton's phone because during his time being a socialist played a big role in his life. Upton organized an End Poverty In California socialist reform movement, his bid for the governorship of California, he also ran for US Senate in California, and featured a proposal for the relief and reforms associating with numbers of societal institutions. Upton was met with defeat time and time again and was faced with a propaganda campaign that apposed his views. This was known as one of the most well known smear campaigns in America.

Daily Brain Games: Sinclair would have Daily Brain Games on his phone because he was one of the best educated American writers of his time era. He went to college at the University of New York at the age of 18, and for 2 + years attended classes at Columbia College.

He put 30,000 dollars of his own earnings into his corporation, which later burnt down 4 months later.

Upton would also have a picture of his son David Sinclair and his second wife, Meta Sinclair for this was his family. Upton and his wife were not the wealthiest, just making it from their incomes, after the birth of Sinclair's son, this put him and his wife into more poverty, however Sinclair refused to do anything but write during these times.

Another picture that would be featured on Upton's phone would be a picture of his grandparents. Upton grew up in poverty, his parents barely made a steady income. Sinclair's father was an alcohol salesman and sold hats for a living, but Upton had to grow up with his dad also being an extreme alcoholic, and his mother a teetotaler. His mother also being very strict and religious. they often moved around because if his father never having a steady job. Sinclair spent periods of his time living with his grandparents. His grandparents from his mothers side were wealthier than most. Upton going from a poverty ridden home to living with his wealthy grandparents gave him the opportunity to understand both stances on living in poverty and living with benefits. The song Silent Running by Hidden Citizens also uncovers social issues people are facing and undergoes by exposing their thoughts and feelings towards these issues, and Upton did just that in his writings.

Upton would Have Power And The Passion song on his playlist because he wanted the people to be ran by in a social democratic party when he had ran for placement in his political party, but was met with failure each time, and found it hard to believe people were living socialistic lifestyles but didn't want the title of actually being ran in a socialistic society.

The last song Upton would have on his Playlist would be Swimming pools, because his dad was an alcoholic all throughout Uptons' life, but even though his father drowned most of his time in alcohol he always wanted what was best for his son, and even though he couldn't always be there for his son during these hard times, he always wanted Upton to be lead to victory, even when he knew he was abusing his limits.

I like how you incorporate your own style on it and talk about situations most authors don't want to discuss. How did you get into this style of writing?
Upton Sinclair: Thank you! What really got me into my style of writing was growing up with both my parents and grandparents, I would occasionally spend certain periods of time living with my grandparents which were a lot more wealthy than my parents. Being in both extreme poverty then living with wealthy grandparents shaped me into a socialist because of getting to experience both sides, which really got me interested in talking about events that are going on that I knew normal authors wouldn't want to bring to the table.
Justin Bieber: Wow, that's very inspiring. I heard about your novel The Jungle, how did you go about that novel?
Upton Sinclair: The Novel was actually supposed to be aimed more towards the treatment immigrant workers were being faced in the corporation, but there was a huge uproar in the public about how the conditions the meat industry was doing in the US.
Justin Bieber: I see, will I be expecting more books and novels from you in the future?
Upton Sinclair: Of course! Writing is my passion and I will continue to do just that!
