She started off by working at a pharmacy company and was a sales person. She was part of the top sales people for that company so when the company needed people to get trained in they made that Diana’s new job. She really liked this job because it was on her own time and she really had free roam of what she could do. During this venture she met her close friend and part owner in health-ade Vanessa Dew. After Diana quit her job she decided that she wanted to come up with a business idea and her original idea was using the kombucha sack that that was formed when making kombucha was good for hair loss and they wanted to make that there business.

The first problem with there business is that it takes a really long time to make the kombucha hair grower. Another reason why this product didn’t work is because the way it smelled and nobody wants to put smelly green kombucha sacks on there head. By the time the farmers market started they didn’t have enough kombucha balls to be able to sell the hair loss product. How they fixed this problem is they decided to just straight up sell the actual drink kombucha for $5/bottle $8/2 bottles. They sold out by 11 am and they lost 4 hours of business because they didn’t have enough bottles. They continued to have money problems because they were making money really fast but also having to spend a lot of money to expand the company so the money would just keep running out. That’s when they opened up the idea of investments and that’s when Coca-Cola company invested into there company which is when they realized that they have made it. After this investment they free themselves into over a 200 million dollar company and she split the profits up in thirds with her husband and her friend that also helped.
