Helmuth Hübener was a 17-year-old German who resisted the Nazi regime by distributing anti-Nazi leaflets based on BBC radio broadcasts. He secretly listened to foreign news, translated it, and uncovered truth about Nazi lies with the help of a few close friends. In February 1942, he was arrested by the Gestapo, tortured, and put on trial for high treason. Despite his age, he was sentenced to death and executed on October 27, 1942. Hübener is remembered today as one of Nazi Germany's youngest and bravest resistance fighters.
