One of our Robots

1. We liked the center. It was fun to draw the shapes, but also challenging to cut them out with our non dominant hand.
2a. If students feel comfortable drawing shapes and cutting them out, they may feel industry. However, if they struggle with it, they may feel inferior trying to keep up with their classmates.
3. It was active and meaningful. We got to know each other more as we cut out the shapes.
4. The instructions were simple and clear, which made it easy to follow. There were a lot of shapes to cut out which took a long time though.
5. Impulse Control, Attention, Flexibility, Organization
6. Create
7.

1. I liked the center, I was just unable to finish them. They helped me to think harder than I normally would, and required my complete attention to do!
2. I felt that I fell into the more inferiority side of the stage, because I wasn't able to finish or grasp the concepts as quickly it made it harder for me to enjoy it and feel good about myself.
2B. Having a first hand experience allowed me to learn more than I normally would if I was just watching, so that helped me to pick up more than I would have without.
3. This activity was active, as it allowed us to react with the material. It wasn't very meaningful to me because it was hard to understand and was going kind of fast, also making it so no relationships were nurtured.
4. You broke them down enough for me to understand somewhat was going on, it was just hard to grasp completely what was happening and what I needed to be doing.
5. I used attention and organization executive function skills for this activity. I had to pay a great amount of attention as I watched, and organize the information quickly into my mind.
6. Remember and apply were used in this activity from Bloom's Taxonomy.
7. Verbal and visual Multiple Intelligences were used in this activity as she said numbers and showed them on the screen.

1. It was a fun site, but also kind of confusing because it looked like it was already done, but there was definitely a lot to learn.
2. It could be either industry or inferior because students who are good could keep going and feel like they are accomplishing a lot, but students who don't know what's going on might get frustrated and quit. It definitely was a sensory demonstration because it was very hands on and the students are actively involved in the process and product.
3. It was very active, but it didn't really offer a chance to strengthen relationships. Everyone kind of did it by themselves rather than turning to each other. If we had done it more as a group there would have definitely been more room to grow together and encourage each other to keep moving forward which would have helped with the relationship.
4. The task was broken down well, but we weren't sure if we should work as a team or not so we ended up doing it separately.
5. Emotional control, attention and flexibility definitely played a big role in this project because we had to control ourselves when we got frustrated when something wasn't working and we had to pay attention to the surroundings of the bird and pig so we could achieve our goal. Being flexible was key because we had to know that something might go wrong and we had to be willing to work with it.
6. We definitely used creating, evaluating and analyzing in this process, again because there were a lot of factors that played into achieving our goal.
7. Visual and Mathematical were definitely the two that stick o9ut because it took awareness of the surroundings and an ability to count and think logically to get where we needed to go.

Industry because I felt capable and was determined to accomplish the work. I think the center was sensory and product.
3. It was active, and required my focus. I was able to compare my work to the template. It required interaction with others and making decisions.
4. Yes. I was able to understand what was required of me, and had visuals that were made available for me to copy.
5. I used goal achievement, and attention to copy the font.
6. I used apply and create.
7. Visual/spatial. I also think it might be interpersonal because you have us share our work with others, and decide who has the best hand writing.

It built on some of my previous knowledge and thinking skills to try to understand what the words meant, but it was new to me.
3. I feel like it was somewhat active. It is so interesting how different this language is from English!
2a. I would consider this activity as industry because I was enjoying it and got some of the numbers right. It was still hard and I didn't necessarily do that great remembering, but it was a good learning experience.
2b. I think this was first hand experiences because I was able to do it myself and practice it aloud and in person.
3. This was an active center because I was able to fully participate throughout, and it was meaningful as it helped me learn another language - kind of.

1. I found this center pretty fun! It was interesting to hear a completely new language and try to learn how to say numbers. It was fun to try to remember how to pronounce them and what sounds the letters made.
2a. I would consider this activity industry. I had fun doing it and enjoyed myself even though I didn't get all the numbers correct overall it was a good learning experience.
2b. This was a first hand experience because I was listening to the video, working on my pronunciation, and trying to write what I was learning.
3. This activity was active because I was participating with the video and working to try to learn new things. It was somewhat meaningful because learning new things almost always is but I wouldn't say it was super meaningful because the numbers that I learned didn't really stick with me. It didn't nurture any relationships for me because I did it alone.
4. Yes, I think it was broken down into easy to follow instructions.
5. Sensory, product, first hand experience.
3. I think it was very active. If the students worked in partners, they would have to interact and discuss with each other what steps they should take. Meaningful because the child feels successful when they achieve the goal.
4. The music was a little overwhelming and added to the stress as you had to hurry and find the facts.
2. This was industrious because it helped us learn what we were to do, and if we got it down we were successful. However, I think the center activity questions were not very good questions and were inferior as they were frustrating to understand. I think this center had lots of sensory and hands on experiences which. It had colors, sounds, hand movements, and other sensory things involved.
3. I think this activity was active as it engaged the students and meaningful as it reinforced the ideas.
4. The tasks were broken down for us.
5. This used goal achievement an impulse control and we had a a goal to reach to get to 10, and we had to be quick and really know our math facts.
6. This incorporated remembering and applying as we had to remember the rules we were taught and apply them to get the right answer.
7. It was active because you were able to follow along with the video and they also gave ways you could practice what you have learned. I would say it was meaningful because in my opinion anytime you are learning a different language or about a different culture it can be very impactful because it help build relationships and connections. This particular center was active because you had to create your own physical product. I would not call this activity super meaningful other than the fact that it could help children follow directions and learn about shapes and how to cut. I would say that this center helped nurture relationships because as a group you had to collaborate and decided on the best robots.
4. Yes, I thought the instructions were clear.
5. I feel like industry and inferiority really apply to this activity. If the kids are able to create the number, they will feel great. But if they don't, then they will have a feeling of inferiority.
3. I feel like this activity was active because you were actively trying to remember the numbers.
4. I feel like you did, but I would give examples for the Hebrew or English alphabet. For a little bit, I thought it was saying that I could just spell out the numbers we would spell them in English.
5. I feel like we used attention as we focused on the numbers and we used prioritization to prioritize those numbers above all else because we knew that we would have to use them later.
6. I feel like we used remember in this activity because we were trying to remember the activities.
7. I feel like we used logical/mathematical intelligence because we were using our brains and memorizing numbers in Hebrew.

I feel like I only used attention for this center. I was trying to pay attention so that I could understand what was being said.
6. I feel like the attempt was to understand what was being said. I can't say that it worked very well, but I can see that was the intention.
7. It was somewhat difficult to remember the numbers and I had to repeat them several times though.
2. Erikson's Industry vs Inferiority can apply because I could see myself improving and succeeding.
3. It was an active task, as it forced me to think about what I was trying to learn and remember. It's not necessarily the most meaningful because I don't necessarily have a use for the Hebrew numbers in the same way I use the English numbers. I also don't know how much it nurtured relationships simply because I was doing it alone with a screen, although it would likely be better with a group or a physical teacher.
4. I think the task was broken down well enough to follow through with.
5. The executive function I used the most was probably attention, as I had to actively pay attention to the video and keep the things I was learning active in my working memory.
6. A very active task, but lacking in any relationship aspect, as that task doesn't leave much for interacting with others.
4. The tasks weren't very broken up, but also the only way I could think of them being more broken down would be for someone to walk me through the letters themself.
5. Definitely attention, since I had to focus on making my letters look like the originals, probably some goal achievement since I had a clear goal from the task, and probably some flexibility since I hadn't actually tried writing in that style ever before.
6. I think Analyzing and Creating are the most prevalent parts of Bloom's Taxonomy, as I had to analyze the letters and recreate them myself.
7. It was meaningful in that I had to think about how I wanted the piece to go together into a shape that was recognizable as a robot. It could nurture relationships if the participants decided to interact as they built their robots, but it doesn't inherently do so.
4. I think that the task was broken down enough. There weren't really any leaps of logic necessary in the steps.
5. Attention to make sure I was cutting the shapes out right, and some flexibility in making a robot using those shapes.
6. We created the robot, so there's that one. There could also be an argument made for analyzing, as we had to analyze the shapes for the best way to make a robot.
7.

1. I really enjoyed this center because I have never really been exposed to Hebrew before, let alone numbers. It was really interesting learning how to count to 10 in Hebrew!
2. I think Erikson definitely relates to my answer above when it comes to industry vs. inferiority. When students experience repeated failure, this will result in them feeling inferior. Thus, with this center, I felt somewhat inferior because I had not been exposed to Hebrew in a very long time and it was difficult to write out her phone number without explicitly telling us right away.
3. This specific learning activity definitely fit the learning model because it was an active, hands-on learning experience. Not only was I invested in the technology (video), but I was asked to write down the numbers in Hebrew and listen to the instructor. I said the numbers in Hebrew aloud and worked through the complexity of it in my head. However, it wasn't necessarily meaningful because I don't know when I would use Hebrew (compared to English), but it was still a fun learning experience. When students are in groups doing this, this will nurture relationships - students will be working together.
4. Yes, the tasks were broken down and I felt like I could be successful. It was detailed step-by-step and I didn't feel lost. The instructions were clear and I was able to understand this center clearly. It helped to have the steps numbered.
5. For me, the executive function skills that I used were attention and metacognition. I had to focus on what the instructor in the video was saying and write down her phone number. Additionally, I had to "think about my thinking" throughout to ensure that I got the instructions completely.
6. The Bloom's Taxonomy skills that were incorporated were remember, analyze, and apply. Remember was probably the most used skill in this activity because I needed to think back to what the numbers were in Hebrew. However, when it came to producing a phone number, I had to analyze what I had already learned, and apply it to the situation at hand.
7. The Multiple Intelligence skills that were incorporated into this activity was Verbal/Linguistic. I needed to think and express my thoughts using words and numbers.

1. To be completely honest, I did not love this activity. It was difficult to keep up with what was said in the article and I didn't really have a large interest in the subject matter. There were also a lot of big words that I had never heard before, which made it more difficult to comprehend.
2. Erikson's ideals on inferiority definitely come into play here because I did not feel like I could accomplish the task well. I felt incompetent while doing this activity and felt like I couldn't do something like this in the future. I honestly felt like I failed this activity, thus incorporating Erikson's industry vs. inferiority.
3. This activity fit the learning model in that it was a somewhat hands-on learning experience. We were asked to work together (nurturing relationships) to come up with definitions and relate the article in a meaningful way (find the main idea). It was a good break-down and was an active learning experience because the instructions asked the learner to think deeply and come up with definitions and the main idea. I don't know how meaningful it was because I couldn't see how it pertained to my life. It would be meaningful for someone in the medical field or other science majors, etc. It depends on who the audience is.
4. I think the tasks were broken down enough in order for me to be successful in completing it. However, the numbers for the steps were almost always 1, which could be confusing to some people. Also, the activities themselves were somewhat difficult because it was a scholarly article. Overall, what I was asked to do/complete was clear and seemingly straightforward.
5. The executive function skills that I utilized were attention, emotional control, and organization. I had to really focus my thoughts while reading the article because there were a lot of large scientific words that I didn't understand. Because of this, I got somewhat stressed. However, I had to remember to keep myself organized and going through everything step-by-step helped.
6. The Bloom's Taxonomy skills that were incorporated in this activity included remember, understand, and evaluate. In order for me to be successful, I needed to remember what was in the article itself, contextualize and understand what the article meant, then I needed to evaluate my learning by coming up with the main idea and definitions for particular scientific words.
7. The Multiple Intelligence skills that were incorporated with this activity was Verbal/Linguistic. This is because it had a lot to do with thinking, writing down, and comprehending the meaning of the words throughout the article, etc.

1. I really liked this center because I have never really practiced my calligraphy skills before - I just haven't had the time. So, it was fun writing my name in a unique way.
2. I think this works with both Piaget's and Erikson's stages/theories. Piaget focuses a lot on first-hand/concrete experiences and I feel like this center definitely revolved around this notion. I was given the instructions step-by-step, shown what the letters actually look like in a different way than I am used to, and I completed the activity myself. Thus, it was a first-hand experience because I was involved in completing the activity the entire time. This relates with Erikson because I felt like I could be successful in the activity (industry). I felt like I couldn't entirely fail this activity because the steps were clearly labeled and I could see the letters Sister Bigelow wanted me to write.
3. This activity fit the learning model in that it was a very active learning experience overall. Not only did I need to look at the different letters on the instruction sheet, but I wrote out my own name. Thus, it was meaningful as well because I wasn't simply writing something random. I was writing my name - something meaningful and important to me. This could nurture relationships if completed with a friend, parent, etc. As a whole, this fit the learning model and was a productive experience.
4. Yes, the tasks were broken down in a clear manner and I knew exactly what to do and when. I liked having another option (another font) because it made the experience more enjoyable when I had the opportunity to pick what I wanted. The set-up was very organized.
5. The executive function skills that I used were attention, organization, and goal achievement. With this center, I needed to focus my attention on the individual letters that I was writing out. I needed to be organized or else the letters would not appear normal (maybe people could not read my name, so I needed to be organized in where I placed my letters). Additionally, I was motivated towards a goal and completed it after writing my name and even the sentence out.
6. The Bloom's Taxonomy skills that were incorporated in this center included apply, evaluate, and create. I needed to look at the different letters, figure out how to draw/write my name in a unique way, and apply what I learned (to writing out my name). Also, I needed to evaluate my drawing on a consistent basis because I wanted it to look like the template. I also wanted my sentence to look like the other font. Additionally, I was able to create something meaningful - writing my name and a sentence. Therefore, creativity was definitely put in place here.
7. The Multiple Intelligence skills incorporated in this center were Visual/Spatial and Bodily Kinesthetic. With this activity, I had to construct mental representations after looking at the font to create my name. Also, I was learning with my hands which relates to the Bodily Kinesthetic intelligence.

It gives students a chance to try different types of writing.
4. Yes it was broken down well.
5. I think this required a lot of attention and goal achievement as you had to may attention to each individual letter as you strived to reach the goal.
6.

1. I actually really enjoyed this center because I am taking a coding class right now. It was very applicable and a fun challenge to try and remember all of the right blocks (to take me to the pig). This coding activity was also in my "range of expertise" so it was interesting to see my skills put to work.
2. I think Erikson and Piaget's ideals work well with this particular center. Piaget talks a lot about first hand experiences and this center focused a lot on that. I had to come up with the code, test it out, and see if I could get the angry bird to the pig. Also, Erikson's notion of industry v. inferiority comes into play because I found myself to be very successful with this specific activity. I felt proud of my accomplishments and could even be given a more challenging task. However, for those students who may not have been exposed to coding before, this could be difficult and time-consuming. Thus, they may feel inferior compared to their peers who have already coded, begun coding, etc.
3. This center fit the learning model because it was a very active game and experience as a whole. I was the one creating, moving blocks, testing out my angry bird, etc. I wasn't just sitting passively, but was actively participating in the coding game. I could not go onto the next level without completing the first one. Thus, it was a game that got progressively harder, but was active overall. This coding game was particularly meaningful to me because I am in a coding class (as I mentioned above). Thus, it is testing my skills with the knowledge I have already gained. This is relevant to me and my life right now. This activity could definitely nurture relationships if done in groups and students worked together to accomplish the coding tasks.
4. The tasks were broken down in a meaningful way and I understood every set of instructions. It was all clearly stated and I never felt lost going through this activity. If I forgot the next step, I would just go back to the sheet and continue working.
5. The executive function skills that I used were attention, flexibility, organization, and metacognition. As a whole, I needed to pay attention to what was going on and how I could get my angry bird to the pig. I needed to be flexible in this regard because I made several mistakes along the way. When I made mistakes, I would either take out blocks or add extra steps so that my bird could reach the pig. I needed to keep my code organized so that I knew exactly what my angry bird was doing. Thus, metacognition comes into play because I am thinking about the process as a whole.
6. The Bloom's Taxonomy skills that were incorporated included understand, apply, analyze, evaluate, and create. Many of Bloom's skills are incorporated because coding is a very hands-on, active learning experience. I needed to grasp my prior understanding, apply what I knew to get the bird moving, analyze the situation (how to get the bird to the pig), then evaluate if my code was correct. If my code was correct, I would click "run." Therefore, I created a code that functioned properly and I did what was asked overall.
7. The Multiple Intelligence skills that were incorporated into this coding game include Logical/Mathematical, Visual/Spatial, Bodily Kinesthetic, and Intrapersonal Intelligence. First, this was Logical/Mathematical because it involved coding. I needed to understand the particular steps to take and the motions to utilize. Visual/Spatial is similar to this as well - I needed to tell where my angry bird would go if I coded it a certain way. Bodily Kinesthetic: I had to actually DO something and it was a hands-on learning experience. Intrapersonal: I had to think about how I was feeling and doing throughout the process of coding by myself. These Intelligences all relate to the coding activity that I completed.

I think this could be inferiority because it was a hard thing to be successful in and truly understand. I don't' think it was super active or hands on. It had good intention to teach vocabulary, but how it was done wasn't the best way.
3. I think it could possibly nurture relationships as you work with a partner, but wasn't super active.
4.

1. I liked this center because it was interesting to learn a new language. I have had the opportunity in the past to go to Israel and hear people speak Hebrew, but it's interesting now to understand the numbers someone may have been saying in the past.
2. I believe that Eriksons theory with Industry vs. Inferiority applies to may answer above, because I felt frustrated when I couldn't say the words exactly as the woman did. Yet, I took time to productively listen and learn.
3. This center was definitely active. As she was saying the numbers in Hebrew, you would repeat it back to practice them. I found myself saying them even when she had moved on. It was also meaningful, because learning a new language, or even pieces of a new language, show respect and appreciation for another culture. However, it wasn't meaningful in the way that I would use this in everyday conversation.
4. Yes, the tasks were broken down enough for me to be successful. If they had been combined into less steps, I feel as though I would have gotten lost and the center wouldn't have been as hands-on.
5. The executive functions I used were attention and time management. I was focused on what the teacher was saying while also being productive in the time necessary to finish this center.
6. In Bloom's taxonomy, the skills of apply, remember and create were incorporated. First, we started by trying to repeat and remember the numbers in Hebrew so that we could then, second, apply them to her phone number. We would write down and create the words on our paper.
7. Verbal/Linguistic as well as Visual/Spatial were the Multiple Intelligence Skills that were incorporated. We could see how the Hebrew words were spelt and hear them spoken by the teacher.

1. I did not enjoy this center. I struggled to read and pronounce the words in the article.
2. I think that Erikson's theory of Industry v. Inferiority applies to support my answer to number one. I was very discouraged when I couldn't understand how to say the words or what they meant.
3. This activity could have nurtured relationships if I had worked on this center with other people, however due to time I had to complete this on my own. It was active in the sense that I had to actively think throughout the reading. Though, this was in no way meaningful to me.
4. The tasks were broken down enough to for me to complete the center. However, I would've done step 3 before step 2. Defining the words would have made coming up with the main idea much easier for me, since before I had not idea what this article was talking about.
5. The main executive function skill I used throughout this center was metacognition. In my head I was trying to decipher the words while also reading along and realizing I really didn't know their true definition. This center also took a lot of attention.
6. I had to analyze each of the larger words I failed to have heard before hand. By defining them and using them in a sentence, I would better understand and apply them to my learning. In a sense, I was also creating as I wrote new sentences with the words.
7. This activity for me was interpersonal, because I had to work with myself rather than with a group or partner. It was also verbal/linguistic as I was reading words and sentences I did not understand at the time.

1. I liked this center a lot because it allowed me to be creative and create a robot (something I haven't done since I was little). I was able to choose how I wanted to orient my robot and it was fun picking out how to make him (with what pieces, etc.)
2. I think both Erikson and Piaget's ideals can come into play with this particular center. Piaget takes a constructivist approach and this activity definitely has to do with hands-on learning experiences and concrete experiences. I was able to read the directions and figure out how to construct my robot (I also looked at the other pictures on padlet to see how I could do mine differently). I also think process v. product is evident in this activity because I am constructing the robot and then taping the pieces together. Thus, I am able to create something out of the process. With Erikson and his ideals on industry v. inferiority, I felt very successful with this project/center. However, it could be difficult for younger children unless there is someone modeling the activity for them. They could also compare themselves to their peers, which would make individuals feel inferior in that regard.
3. This center/activity fits the learning model because it is a very active learning experiences. I'm not simply watching a video on how to make a robot out of paper. Instead, I am actively engaging and cutting out pieces, taping them together, and creating a robot myself. I am continually doing something. Although this wasn't a super meaningful activity, it could be meaningful if it related to the instructional content being taught (Ex: in math, reading -if there is a robot, etc.) This activity could nurture relationships if students were working in groups and coming up with a robot together.
4. Yes, you broke down the tasks enough in order for me to be successful in creating my robot. The instructions were clear and I followed along step-by-step. Therefore, I was able to create my robot and be proud of what I accomplished.
5. The executive skills that I used for this activity included attention, prioritization, flexibility, organization, and time management. As I was beginning this activity, I needed to pay attention to how many circles, triangles, and rectangles to cut out. Then, I needed to be flexible in how I could organize and set-up my robot. Because this was a creative activity and there were no instructions on how to put him together, I was able to be flexible and come up with my own ideas. Additionally, I prioritized the pieces in order to make my robot look like an actual robot. I didn't want to spend hours on this project, so I made sure to give myself 5-10 minutes creating my robot.
6. The Bloom's Taxonomy skills that were incorporated in this center were understand, apply, analyze, evaluate, and create. Many of these skills were utilized because I needed to understand the given set of instructions first, then apply my knowledge of what certain shapes look like, then analyze how I wanted to put the robot together. After taping everything, I evaluated my work and ended up creating something fascinating!
7. The Multiple Intelligences that were incorporated in this center included Logical/Mathematical, Visual/Spatial, and Bodily Kinesthetic. First in foremost, I had to analyze the situation and think logically about how I wanted to create my robot. Visual/Spatial is also evident because I needed to figure out how to put my mental representations into my picture (creating my robot). I needed to figure out how to properly space pieces out and construct the robot in its entirety. Bodily Kinesthetic relates to this activity because I had to actually cut out and tape the pieces together in order to create my robot.

1. I really enjoyed this activity! I took a calligraphy class in high school and absolutely loved it.
2. Piaget's theory supports my answer to number one. It was a sensory experience as I used my sense of sight and touch to create the letters on the page.
3. This center was active since we copied the letters from the center onto our own page and focused on hand writing. It was meaningful in the way that this will help me practice my cursive handwriting for future experiences.
4. Yes, the tasks were broken down enough for me to be successful. However, it would have been nice to see how to write each letter for the first step. I found if difficult to space the letters out correctly.
5. I used impulse control and attention to complete this activity. Normally, I like to write my cursive a different way, so I had to control my urge to write it the way I wanted to. I also had to intensely focus on the flow of each letter and the differences between them.
6. I created my name out of the alphabet given to us. I also applied the second alphabet to create and write the sentence below.
7. This center incorporated the MI skills of visual/spatial, intrapersonal since you worked alone, and verbal/linguistic since we were working with letters and writing.

1. I enjoyed this center because I was able to put my math skills to the test (and act like an 8-year-old), but throughout the levels I started to get more and more confused. I realize looking back that it has to do with the base 6 number system, which is why it started to get very confusing for me.
2. Erikson's notion on industry vs. inferiority definitely takes precedence in this activity because I started to feel more and more inferior the more I would play (and the harder the level). I did not understand how 5+3=12 until looking at and understanding the base 6 system. We are taught the base 10 system so regularly and naturally that it can be very confusing to students when switched. I kept getting several answers wrong too, so it made me feel like a failure when my results weren't what I thought it would be. I can see how this could make children feel inferior if they do not have someone modeling or teaching them about how to properly play the math game.
3. This center fit the learning model in that it was an active learning experience for all those that participated. I was able to click on the bubbles to solve problems and add two numbers together to solve, etc. Thus, the teacher wasn't just giving me a basic equation to solve, I was coming up with and picking the numbers on my own accord. I could make the problems however easy or difficult I wanted (Ex: 9+1=10, 5+1=10, etc). I thought this game was somewhat meaningful in that it allowed me to practice my math facts, but it was also very confusing because I wasn't aware of the base 6 system before playing it. It would make the center more meaningful if this part was explained. Lastly, this could nurture relationships if the game was done in a partnership or a group setting. Then, students could learn from one another and understand what was going on in the game overall.
4. I feel like the tasks were somewhat broken down. If I were a child, I wouldn't know where to go when clicking on the link. It might be beneficial to say "Click log in and then press 'myself'..." This way, students know exactly what to do without getting lost on the home page. It also might be helpful to explain the base 6 system before sending students off to do the math game. However, if this was already taught by the teacher in a lesson, then this could be a good review game for students to practice. As a college student, it was easy for me to follow the tasks presented, but would be difficult for a younger student playing.
5. The executive function skills that I practiced during this center included impulse control, emotional control, attention, and flexibility. This is because I had to regulate my emotions when I didn't immediately understand why 5+5=14, etc. I needed to persevere through the task given. Also, I needed to control my impulses because I wanted to immediately state that 5+3=12 was false, but in reality it is true with the base 6 system. I had to understand that this wasn't the base 10 system I normally work with. Lastly, I needed to focus my attention and be flexible with how to solve the problems and compete to the next level.
6. The Bloom's Taxonomy skills that are incorporated in this center include remember, understand, apply, and evaluate. First, I needed to remember how to add numbers (take from my prior knowledge and understanding), then I needed to understand what the game itself was asking. I had to find 2 numbers that made 10. Then, I had to apply my knowledge and create solutions from the numbers given to me in the game. I also needed to apply the base 6 system so that I could get more answers correct and not be so fearful of getting things wrong. I also evaluated my work at the end to see if I understood what was being asked of me, etc.
7. The Multiple Intelligence skills that were incorporated in this center were Visual/Spatial and Logical/Mathematical. In the activity, I utilized Visual/Spatial because I was performing and modifying my perceptions. I was constructing mental representations in order to fully comprehend what I was supposed to do in this game. Additionally, Logical/Mathematical is a present skill because the game had to do with math facts (addition) and carrying out mathematical operations - I needed to investigate and ensure that my math was right as a whole.

My answer in question 1 applies to Erikson's theory of industry v. inferiority. I felt as though I was being productive and the congratulations when finishing one project made me proud of what I created. It was also a hands-on experience with some sensory as you watched and created code.
3. This was definitely an active experience because you were creating a code by dragging and dropping them into a side box. I was watching how my actions effected the outcome of the pig. It didn't nurture relationships since it was only me working on this center. It would also have been more meaningful if I was actually interested in studying coding for my future career.
4. The tasks were perfectly broken down to understand how to do the center. At no point was I ever confused. I felt confident in finishing this center because of the steps.
5. I used organization, because I had to put the code in a specific order to make sure the bird moved correctly. There was also goal achievement, because in the end I was able to have the bird defeat the pig. Lastly, there was a level of attention needed to make sure the code was placed correctly.
6. We were applying what we learned about the code in the first video and creating our own system of code to have the bird move correctly! You also had to understand how the code worked in the first place.
7.This center incorporated logical/mathematical, visual/spatial and was intrapersonal as I worked alone.

As I said above, I found myself getting frustrated when I couldn't find the numbers that aded up to 16. This goes alongs with Erikson's theory of industry v. inferiority. I was very frustrated and felt incompetent to finish the activity.
3. This was a hands-on, active activity that fit into the learning model. You had to sit there and think of all the ways you could add numbers together to add up to 16 and more. I found myself being transported back to elementary school through this game. It was also meaningful in the way that it brought back these memories.
4. I felt as though the tasks could have been broken down more to be understandable, the next step was more confusing for me.
5. In this activity, I used the executive function skills of attention, metacognition, and organization as I tried to group the correct numbers together.
6.The skills from Bloom's taxonomy that were incorporated were remember, apply, and understand. Math in general uses a lot of Bloom's taxonomy all at once.
7. This one was obviously logical/mathematical when it comes to the multiple intelligence skills that were used. It was also visual/spatial.

1. I loved this center. It was very fun, and although I am not very good at calligraphy, it was very fun to try.
2. I think this relates to industry because I was able to be pretty successful. There was a page that showed me exactly ow to write the letters, and I was able to copy that.
3. I think this was a very active and meaningfu center, but it didn't really nurture relationships because I did it by myself.
4. I think the tasks were broken down well and it was very easy and clear to follow. It may have been nice to see the steps of how to write the letters and how to space them out, but it was not bad.
5. I used the attention, organization, and goal achievement skills while completing this center. I had to be very intentional to copy the calligraphy and cursive, because I have a specific way of writing and I had to organize it in a way that was new for me.
6. I used the analyze and create skills in this one to look at the letters on the page and create them for myself.
7. I incorporated the visual/spatial and verbal/linguistic skills because it dealt with reading letters and then actually putting them down on paper.

1. I think this was a very fun center. I enjoyed it a lot, but it seemed like the steps were previously completed.
2. This could definitely be either industry or inferiority based on how the students do on it. If they are successful and understand it then they would be industry, but if not they would feel inferior.
3. This was very active and hands on. It didn't really nurture relationships because we didn't work together, but it could have been if we did. This would be very meaningful if I could apply it to my life, like if I were to go into coding.
4. Yes, this center was very clear and easy to follow. The steps were very easy to understand.
5. The skills I used were attention, organization, and goal achievement as I had to focus, plan where to put the blocks, and try to end up in the right spot.
6. I used understanding, applying and creating, as I understood the video and the concepts, applied them to my own situation, and put the blocks together to create the correct sequence.
7. This incorporated visual/spatial and logical/mathematical skills to see the path that needed to be taken and figure out how to sequence the blocks in order to get that correct path.

1. I really enjoyed this center because it was very simple but fun.
2. There could be some inferiority if students struggle with cutting out or putting the pieces together, but it could also be very positive and good for their fine motor skills.
3. This was very active, meaningful, and could nurture relationships if done in groups. It was very hands-on and allowed the children to develop their fine motor skills.
4. This was broken down very well and super easy to understand, so it made it so I could be successful.
5. I used attention and impulse control to pay attention to the shapes I was making and not switch over to my right hand.
6. I used analyze and create because I had to figure out which shapes would be best where and actually put it together.
7. This incorporated bodily kinesthetic and visual/spatial.

1. This center was very fun for me because I love math and it made it super fun.
2. This could definitely go along with Erikson's theory depending on how the children are doing. If they are struggling, they could be feeling inferior, but if they were succeeding, they would feel successful (Industry).
3. This was very active and meaningful for me because it was hands-on and I love doing math. It didn't really help to nurture relationships because I completed it alone, but if someone else did it with me it may have.
4. I think the task was very simple and easy to understand. It allowed me to be successful.
5. I used attention and emotional control because I had to be alert and think quickly, but I also had to regulate my emotions if I got nervous or frustrated by not finding any of the numbers.
6. I used understanding, analyzing, and applying. I had to analyze the numbers on the screen and figure out which ones went together to get 15.
7. This one obviously incorporated logical/mathematical because it dealt with looking at numbers and pairing them.
