         <description><![CDATA[<div>Washington made the decision to send Lee ahead with a small force to engage in battle. While George was in the way with more troops, Lee decided to retreat. Washington decided to send 5,000 troops of more ahead and fight straight on, while another 6,000 would move around the rear. At the end of the battle both sides claimed victory, but Washington's troops were still holding the battlefield when morning came. The second in command Lee had almost ruined the plan, because of not following directions. George Washington however quickly came up with a plan, his soldiers followed him and the plan well.</div>]]></description>
