Company Owners: Cici Adame and Naomi Bageant
logo: We'll light up the way

ADVANTAGES:
#1 you can make a solar panel and transform solar energy into electric energy
#2 transforming solar energy into electric energy doesn't cause any harm to environments and doesn't make any noise
#3 solar panels don't release any harmful air or pollution
DISADVANTAGES:
#1 you can only make electricity through solar panels depending on how much sunlight there is
#2 Solar panels are big heavy objects that might take a lot of work setting up
#3 Solar panels are expensive (especially the bigger it is)

How does advantages out weigh the disadvantages? Well, even though it may have disadvantages, it is a great natural energy source because solar energy is renewable and it can always be replaced. Also, it can provide power to homes and doesn't cause any harm to environments and is a quiet, easy process, transforming solar energy into electrical energy.

The Math! :(
one solar panel can produce 70 watts per square inch. An average house uses 867 watts per month. So, we multiplied 867 by 12 (because there are 12 months in a year) and an average house uses 10,404 watts a year. There will be 4 people in each house, so we then divided 70,000 by 4, and it got us 17,500. So there will be 17,500 people in total. Next, we multiplied 17,500 by 10404 and it gave us 182,070,000. That will mean that we'll need 182070000 watts for each house per year. Finally, we divided 182,070,000 by 70, which gave us 2,601,000. So we will need 2,601,000 solar panels in total. One average solar panel cost $18,840. So we multiplied 2,601,000 by 18,840 and it got us 49,002,840,000. So the cost of the all the solar panels will be $49,002,840,000.

Our Harness
So, for our harness we could put the tower near the center of the city so when it comes up and down it can get energy from left,up,right, and down side of the sun. so by the end of the day we have enough energy to power the whole city!
