Sparta had their education a school like either you're a fighter or you're dead. They gave kids at the age of 7 military training and almost never fed them, because of this they were encouraged to steal food without being caught. At the age of 18 you were an official citizen but you were still given training until you were 30 then you can live at home. Slaves were farmers for the citizens and educators for children of Athens, but they were also forced to do things like be sorta a butler but without pay.

In Sparta, women were real citizens and could own property as well as choose who they marry, although they were real citizens, they still stayed at home after being educated. Slaves on the others hand were treated far more cruelly because they had to farm, teach, and many other things for the citizens of Sparta.
