Sage - Roman and Christian beliefs were much more different from each other because Christians only believed in one god and that he was above all. That very much interfered with Roman religion because Romans believed that there were many gods and that they each played an important rule. Another thing that interfered was that the Romans wanted you to worship and love your emperor and see him just as important as a god, but Christians did not see it that way. Three teachings from Jesus were that people should love god, god is coming to rule the world and people should love one another the way god loves them. Lastly, the Roman authorities saw the teachings of Jesus as a threat to their power because Jesus was gaining lots of followers and and people were not worshiping the emperor anymore.

The Romans though practiced polytheism, the worship of many gods. 2) What were three teachings from Jesus One of his teachings was that God created all people and loved them like a father. Other teachings were things such as God coming soon to rule the world and to love and forgive others. 3) Why did the Roman authorities view the teachings of Jesus as a threat to their power Jesus had been believed to have performed miracles and in turn had started growing the religion.
