My name is Mohammad, although I usually go by Allen.

My home country is Singapore, but ethnically I'm from Indonesia :)

I enjoy building keyboards and playing retro games, I also read non-fiction books in my free time :)

My favorite genre of music is melodic rock and K-pop.

My future with communication

I plan on becoming a Human Resources Worker, so naturally good communication skills are a very important part of my future career.

My job requires being very intimate with people due to its nature of hiring, firing, and managing their well-being while keeping the company's best interests at hand.

In order to be a proper liaison between the company and its workers I need to be able to properly communicate the needs of the company to the employees; as well I must understand the needs of the employees and ensure it is sent to the company through the right channels.

What Kindness means to me

To be kind, for me, is to help people you know when they need it or ask for it.

Personally helping out a friend when I have the means to is a given thing I should at very least try to do. Wether it be assisting to carry a heavy load or study with them so we can help each other keep on track.

kindness can be found in many types of places in all sorts of forms. I believe that kindness with a selfless goal is what true kindness is.

Empathy

Empathy to me is about understanding someone else's troubles and emotional needs. I believe that empathy is an important part of the human experience, with a meaningful experience for me was when I helped my friend go through a troubling moment in his life.

Out of respect for him, I won't go into detail, however, I will say that it helped me to better understand another's values and see how deeply those values can drive someone to want to improve and find their way through life in a way that might be completely different from my views and internal logic.

Reflection on Entreprenuership

During my year here at UBIC I've had an eye-opening experience, especially in my entrepreneurship class. My tutor's name was Mrs Teressa, who was a lovely teacher who always kept me engaged and kept the syllabus easy for me to understand and follow. At first, I found it very uncomfortable since her style of teaching was far more student engagement-focused than I am used to in my old schools, however, I would like to believe that I adapted quickly enough to be comfortable with chiming into class discussions with my own perspectives and takes on certain business theorems.

I was mainly interested in the advertising models shown around the middle of the year. I learned about the different types of advertising and how much market research goes into marketing your product by segmenting the market, understanding who your advertising and product are targeting as well as the position you are taking as a company and the product/service you are offering.

Going into my University course I will be studying Business & Human Resources. Learning about entrepreneurship is a stepping stone for me to understand what each part of a business requires for it to be successful.
