And I think that if they observed it closely they would realize the plants that it grows. But as they sat there they would notice that the bears are harmful and some eat humans, as food. The more they encountered they more that they realized that this is a Grizzly habitat and that this is where they live. They also helped them by opening a trading relationship with them and the United States as it was forming. There was no conflict between these two tribes because they helped each other out.
