Computer Engineering has always been a livelihood obsession, stemming from childhood. After being introduced by my father, I instantly became mesmerized by the technical requirements that Computer Engineering introduced as well as the freedom to be creative in this line of work. By taking part in Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Computer Engineering course, I am confident that I will be able to develop and refine my skills in electronics, programming and analytics. This will help me to apply my innovative ideas and concepts to better the overall society by designing new computer programs that will increase convenience and efficiency for people using computers with such programs.

Since young, I’ve been curious about how planes work, especially the electronics that help them fly and communicate. I enjoy hands-on work and problem-solving, especially in Science and Math. I have always been curious about how machines, systems and structures work. In secondary school, I particularly enjoyed subjects like Mathematics and Science, where I could explore concepts such as forces, energy and design. I was also part of a engineering workshop, where I worked on hands-on projects and developed my problem solving and teamwork skills.

Being a doctor has been my unsure but confirmed goal as I have been curious after at five i scrapped my knee and saw my bone I felt intigued as I saw how my blood and bone in my skin so asked and was shocked to find that there is smaller units of life in there and that alone wanted me to pursue my passion to learn aside from my willingness to help others. I started to go to the library reading on a book a found on oseology of the human body and others and i found more on the human anatomy which llooked interesting as I felt bored in school due to my ability to qucikly learn and implement my skills from lessons and the science provided me with enough to start to question my future. Over the next few years i studied the book and more from the National libraries and school libraries and movies on the things inside of humans and this wanted me to take biolongy in the future. I am serious in my career now as i have found my passion in the subject and this provides me with career options to be an aspiring doctor to implement what I read to help others

When I was 10, I attended a job fair and found a booth for engineering. I was particularly fascinated by the amount of technology they get to work with. And as a child, i yearned for how engineers are able to do so well in their jobs, so I started digging into research and found out that they needed technical expertise and strategic thinking, something I feel that I have. Therefore, I wanted to work hard in school and during O levels to ensure I apply for the Singapore Polytechnic to attend a Diploma in Engineering. The course enables both soft and hard skills,transforming me into a business-minded engineer striving for technopreneurship. In addition, there will practical experiments and dynamic curriculum for other Engineering schools and broaden my career opportunities and success. It is furthermore ideal for analytical, detail-focused and team-oriented students to gain expertise to lead projects from concept to completion, using your strengths in Maths, Science, and technology to solve real-world issues. All in all, I firmly believe this course helps me develop into a budding engineer, and I am ready to step out of my comfort zone to experiment with different with different aspects of life and do the best for society.

When i was 10, i had a passion on how Planes work. At first, a youtuber called "flitetest" posted a video on youtube about making a blackbird rc plane that drops a "bomb". At first i was confused on why it appeared in my youtube home page but it peaked my interest. After i watched the video, i started to watch more videos fro the youtuber and i got more intrested in the subject. From then till now, i have made a few propellor planes and i have learned a lot such as how an airfoil works and what is the difference between pitch, roll, and yaw. When i get into the course, i will be able to learn more things about planes and do more projects that i am ready and excited for.
