The cottonmouth is a very venomous snake, and is primarily aquatic, meaning it stays in water, hence it's other name "Water Moccasin". They feed mostly on small lizards and even fish and frogs, but also eat small rodents such as mice. Cottonmouth's strike their prey, release it, and then hunt it down. Cottonmouth's primary predators are predatory birds such as hawks</div>]]></description>
