POINTS OF INTEREST
- when Mary turned to Jesus to do something about the lack of wine
- when Jesus turned the water into wine
- when the headwaiter tasted the wine and said it is rare to find men who serve good wine last

SIGNIFICANCE TO THE SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE
- I think the event and the points of interest are significant to the Sacrament of Marriage because somehow, Mary and Jesus made a big deal about the loss of wine, which means marriage really is an important event and everything about it should somehow be perfect. That is why now, upon entering the life of a married individual, we should think about our every action very carefully and critically because marriage is not something we just joke about or enter and exit as we please. It is significant since it binds the lives of the couple to each other and to God, thus we should take it seriously.

IMPLICATION TO FAMILY
- What the event implies is that as a family, we should try our best to stay together by doing things that wil strengthen our bond. For example, by comunicating properly, by eating meals together, by going to mass regularly as a family, etc. In doing so, we'll be able to show how much importance we give to our family and our parents' marriage.

POINTS OF INTEREST
- Wine running out, and Mary being worried
- Jesus saying, My hour is not yet come
- When the master of the feast tasted the water that is now wine
- The miracle being the first one to be performed by Jesus
- The master of the feast surprised at why good wine is served later

SIGNIFICANCE TO THE SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE
- The lack of wine shows that there could be a lack of love of the couples, that they are only marrying for worldly or selfish motives.
- Every couple to be, or any individual for that matter should always think before getting into marriage. Marriage should be in God's appointed time, through his divine direction, without any human motives. Just like Jesus, saying "My hour is not yet come"
- The water turning into wine, is trusting Jesus' and God's process in the marriage, and let their will be done.
- It can be considered the first miracle, as marriage is a symbol of the unity of God and the Church, it is the mission that God has let us participate in.
- Marriage is not something that is rushed, just like the good wine being served last, there is always a right time. The master of the feast is surprised because it would normally be that good wine is served first, meaning marriage was rushed, but it should always be remembered that marriage comes at the right time.

IMPLICATION TO MY FAMILY
- Just like my family, there are times that there could be lack of wine, but we should always stay strong, and ask God for guidance, as his will, will always prevail. Sometimes our family thinks that the problem is too big, and that it would not be solved, however, there is nothing too big for our God. Miracles can happen, anything can happen.

POINTS OF INTERESTS
- Mary was concerned because there was no wine.
- Mary told the servant to follow whatever Jesus commands.
- Jesus turned the water to wine.
- The president of the wedding said that they consistently served the best wine.
- Jesus revealed His glory and the disciples believed Him.

SIGNIFICANCE TO THE SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE
- The wine mentioned in the Gospel could mean love, respect, happiness, and trust. It could also mean faith in God. When these lack in a marriage, things wouldn’t turn out well between the couple. Married couples must be attentive enough to know what is lacking in their relationship and they must acknowledge it.
- Mary turned to Jesus when she noticed the problem. She asked for help and trusted Jesus despite His uncertain response. Married couples must always pray to God, most especially when they are having troubles with their marriage. They must put Him in the center of their relationship and trust Him completely.
- The servant who was told to follow what Jesus commands is actually us. In marriage, it is through their mission as married couples that they are able to serve God.
- Married couples are reminded that the “wine” in their marriage must be consistent.
- The mere fact that Jesus performed His very first miracle at a wedding, revealed His glory and the disciples believed in Him could possibly mean the marriage of Christ and His Church.

IMPLICATION TO MY FAMILY
- Family problems are inevitable. There were times when the “wine” in the family seems to be lacking and everything seems to be falling apart but what kept us going is God. Through prayer and trust to Him, we are able to get through tough times. "A family that prays together, stays together," they say and I completely agree because it is through prayers and service that strengthens the family.

Point of Interest
-	The miracle at wedding in Cana is the first public miracle that Jesus has shown according to the bible.
-	It is where He transformed water into wine.
-	It is considered to have a symbolic importance as the first of the seven signs in the gospel of John in which Jesus’ divine status is attested and which the gospel is structured.
-	“Do whatever He tells you”
Significance to the Sacrament of Marriage
The Church sees the miracle at Cana as a “confirmation of the goodness of marriage” (CCC 1613). When Jesus said that the good wine should be serve after the people are drunk, this could be interpreted by saying simply that it is always darkest before the dawn, but good things are on the way. Jesus saved the wedding from disaster at that time and Mary was quick to tell Jesus about tis disaster, and this action could mean intercession. The wine in the story symbolizes the missing pieces to be put so that the image can be complete. Wine can be represented as love, the feeling that is supposed to make you drunk by your own emotion. And love is held by Christ to make the bond among two persons stronger.

Implication to Family
We should never forget to invite Christ in the middle of our family and it implies that love with family and God is in the midst of it, makes it stronger. It also implies that when Christ said that the good wine should are serve after the people are drunk, means that we should anticipate for problems and challenges in life but also remember that God is with us, and by patience we can see the brightness of the sun after the long night. And this could by apply for my family, that after the long night of struggles, we should be patient to see the bright sun of success, because God is with us.

Sean Santillan

POINTS OF INTERESTS
- Ran out of wine at the wedding
- Jesus followed her Mother’s order
- Mary said to the servants to follow her son
- He turned the barrels of water into wine
- It was the best wine they have ever tasted

SIGINIFICANCE TO THE SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE
It was significant because there was the presence of Jesus during the wedding. Just like any wedding you go to, Jesus is involved all throughout the ceremony. The mass, the Church, and as married couples, Jesus is with them. That is why the Sacrament of Matrimony is sacred because Jesus love is present in it. He makes a big contribution to the Sacrament of Matrimony just like when it ran out of wine at Cana. He must be present because He is important.

REFLECTION
What I learned from the story is to follow your Mother when she tells you what to do. Trust your momma she will always be right. Just like Jesus when He was just young. He kept on insisting that He is not yet ready but He still followed Mary because she is the mother. So when my mom tells me to do chores at home, all I can do is to listen and follow her order just like Jesus. Instead of not following her, I’ll just think that I am also doing simple miracles for our family just like turning dirty dishes into clean dishes, like turning water into wine.
