Planning and preparations for over 100,000 5-11 yo mass vaccinations potentially in November
Address the potential furlough of school staff for lack of Vaxx confirmation
School level infrastructure, procedural planning, training, and communications for 'Test To Stay' program launching in the next few weeks
Assessing and adjusting "remote learning" supports for quarantined and isolation students. This is especially important for our highly impacted families with young students without the supports and structures at home for meaningful engagement with virtual learning.
Addressing low Opt-In parental consent (<50% for ES students); consider adding 'spit testing' for students that are not Opted In for swab testing which the HI Foundation could potentially support with a grant
Improved Symptomatic student testing protocols and guidance on Contact Tracing
Develop an integrated internal management workflow for the new Covid data elements needed internally to simplify and minimize the burden, and provide better timely information to minimize risks in schools.
Districtwide Covid related data ( ex. opt-in #/%, symptomatic & asymptomatic test #/%, +/- cases, # students,, #classrooms by grade in quarantine, Distribution (box) plot of student days in quarantine )
