Uniforms should be neatly pressed and clean if they're required. If you do not have a uniform you should keep modesty, safety, and professionalism in mind. Shoes should be comfortable enough to wear throughout the day and should be close-toed to protect from spills throughout the day. Your shoes should also be cleaned daily to rid them of any bacteria collected while at work. Hair should always be pulled up or back to enforce cleanliness as well as to keep off of other people. Hair should be styled in a neutral way as to not shock or excite the patients as well as to add a sense of professionalism. No jewelry is allowed in the workplace because they can be distracting, transmit germs, or cause injuries. Only medical bracelets are permitted to be worn at all times in the work place. Minimal makeup is accepted in the work place.
