Parker is fourteen and he says this on page 21. "I'm fourteen." Pg 21

After Jake Terranova gave out test answers , he made the district mad and Dr.Thaddeus blames Mr. Kermit.

How would the book change if Mr. Kermit had a good attitude

from the beginning?

If he had a good attitude, the Unteachables may have not liked him as much, but they may also have liked him even more and he could have helped them even more and there would be almost no way that Dr. Thaddeus could fire him and they also could have won the science fair.

How would the book change if Dr. Thaddeus let him retire?

Then the unteachables might not learn as much and not try as hard and wouldn't join the science fair also Mr. Kermit might not have cared as much and Parker could have not gotten help and the rest of the kids would not be as motivated and Mr . Kermit's car wouldn't be fixed and Jake may not of had as big of an impact on the kids but Mr. Kermit and the Unteachables would make it to ninth grade and retirement.
