Within the small country's borders the main physcial features you'll find will dry plains, volcanic domes, towering mountains and pristine islands. The country is made up of 3 land forms being long strip on Eritrea's eastern side, along the Red Sea, is an arid, infertile lowland with salty soil; the area is covered with beaches and volcanic rock, Western Eritrea, along the Sudanese border, is largely a flat plain that is even drier than the eastern strip(this can becaused from the arid climate located in that paticular side), entral Eritrea is the most populous region, home to a large plateau with elevations of up to 10,000ft, due to this high elevation it is much cooler and rainier there as a result.
Another thing to note is in the Eritrian highlands, it is home to many mountains, the tallest being Emba Soira, a nearly 10,000-foot high peak in the southeastern highlands. In the eastern lowlands is home to numerous volacanoes. River wise Eritrea contains seasonal rivers(rivers that only flow during the rainy season). The three major season rivers are the Barka River in the highlands, its tributary the Anseba River and the Mareb-Gash River, which runs along the border with Ethiopia's Tigray Province. Also Eritrea also is dotted with islands on the Red Sea coast.

The climate of Eritrea really depends on where you are living, but overall due to Eritrea's highlands the climate is cooler and damper han the semi-arid coast along the Red Sea and in the western hills and lowlands. For instance if you were living in Asmara(capital of Eritrea) the temperature would average around 16 degrees Celcius and average 20 inches of rain. While living in Marasa would average a temperature of 30-50 degrees Celcius and get about 8.1 inches of rain on average. The basic is that it's cooler and wetter in the mountains and hot in the lowlands.

For vegetation in the country come, it all comes down to whether it's in the Mountains or in the Lowlands, but both are very similar. The vegetation spans from dessert(due from desseftication) to grasslands and 3 major types of forests, being the forest/woodland types are distinguished in Eritrea: highland forests, Acacia woodlands and riverine forests. The natural vegetation of the country constitutes 0.8% highland forest. Forest and woodlands, including riverine forest and mangroves cover 13.5% of the total area. The category "bush" is the dominant vegetation in Eritrea covering 63% of the total area. The riverine forests and mangroves play important ecological and economic roles for rural communities, and occupy 1.5% and less than 0.1%, respectively. Mostly all vegetation zones are semi arid.

Well to say the least, prior to the incasion of Italy and anex of Ethiopia, Eritrea actually had a pretty large kingdom way back then; in well 1000 BCE where Semtic people of the Kingdom of Shaba' migrated across the Red Sea and absorbed the Cushitic inhabitants of the Eritrean coast and adjacent highlands. Due to them being well developed cultrually they ended up establishing the kingdom of Aksum. Long story short of the kingdom is that it was a very large trade Kingdom that by the 4 Century CE ages ruled the northern stretches of the Ethiopian Plateau and the eastern lowlands. An important trade route led from the port of Adulis, near modern Zula, to the city of Aksum, the capital, located in what is now the Ethiopian province of Tigray. By the end of the 6 Century CE the kingdom would begin a decline into obcusrity.

Imperialism role and impact

The first to rule by Imperialism in Eritrea was the Italians, they mainly wanted economic, social, and political power increase, and colinized it for themselves by 1890. With the new colinization began the growth in the thousnads and changed the country by bring all of their skills to Eritrea. Though Eritrea lacked resouces so for they ended up subsizing the colony and mainly used it in the mid 1930s when the Italians began an invasion on Ethiopia by recruiting Eritreans to join the fight.

(main conflict after colinization): Well now the real fight begins, as Ethiopia wanted to annex Eritrea and merge with it, declaring that seeing that it's techniclly their terriotory they should have it. The Eritrean constitution, prepared by the UN in consultation with Emperor Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia, was adopted by the Eritrean Assembly on July 10, 1952, and ratified by Haile Selassie on August 11.The act was then ratified by the emperror on September 11 and the British reliquished control on the 15th. The federal scheme was short-lived, mainly because the imperial government in Addis Ababa was unwilling to abide by its provisions. This eventually led up to a revolt that had Muslims being the first to suffer from Ethiopia’s intervention in Eritrea, and it was they who formed the first opposition movement. In 1960, leaders of the defunct independence movement who were then living in exile announced the formation of the Eritrean Liberation Front (ELF). This first armed revolt against the powers of Ethiopia would lead to the war of Indepence, a 30 year war. Evetually when the war ended when Ethiopia and Eritrea sperated in May 24th 1991 and offically celebrated Independence in 1993. The impact was that after the seperation, it made Ethiopia a land locked country. The impact on Eritrea was that it resulted in joy at first of seperation, but it resulted in Ethiopia and Eritrea constantly hating eachother and resulted in border disputes.

Another still problematic to this day is corruption, due to the goverment being so likely to be bribed it still a major political problem as people flee. Other than the conflicts surrounding Ethiopia, one very big concern is human rights as most people living there are political priosners, as they oppose the goverment and are forced to remain

So what makes up this small country of 5.4 million, is mainly made up of Biher-Tigrinya making up 57% of the total population and mainly practice Chrisanity with very few Islam practicers, they live within southern, northern, and central highlands of Maakel and Debub and practices farming. Then the Tigre who occupy st areas from the western lowlands, northern mountains, to the coastal plains of Eritrea and pracrice Christanity and Islamic relgions. The the Saho making up 4% of the country, occupies the southeastern slopes of the highlands to the coastal plains of Foro and the hinterland south of Massawa, practicing Chrisanity and Islam religions. After that the Kunama, they occupy the territories between Gash River and Barentu, and practice Islamic and Chrisanity aswell. Then the Bilen who occupy the regions of Keren and its environs making up a 2% of the whole Eritrea population, also with Chrisanity and Islamic. FINALLY Rashida, came to Eritrea from the Arabian Peninsula. They live nomadic lives and make up 2% of the population.

As for concerns between the difffent people, none really exist from what I could gather from research, the only concern for the population is really the human rights, or mainly how the goverment can improve the human rights of Eritreans, being that they lack certain rights like, lack of assembly, freedom of press, and the unliking and critiscm of the goverment.

Significant have strides been made towards sustainability and environmental recovery have been made by the Government of Eritrea. The Eritrean Government has embarked on a program to reforest Eritrea, by trying to change the fuel souce, seeing it is mainly wood.

This is a "fun" topic in Eritrea as it has many political problems, mainly consiting of corruption. The goverment itself is in charge of all branches of it, which means it controls all of it from one angle. So due to this factor, the importers end up collaberating with illegal smugglers to make a profit off it becuase those parts are bound by that one side. Similarly, the country's strict laws about importation and the inconsistency in the granting of exit visas enable customs and immigration officials to profit from bribery and money laundering.

The future of Eritrea all depends on if the conflicts and government can get themselves toghther and fix it, but as of now I beleive the future outlook is that Eritrea will still be developing. Why, because at the current moment people within Eritrea don't even like being there are most people are poor, hungry, and have little to no rights or edcucation. Plus the overment is corrupt and is run poorly so the most likely outlook is the economy will evnetually improve, and everything rights wise will rise aswell, but never to the bigger diffrence of other countries.
