         <description><![CDATA[<div>Members: Katiya R., Tayler K., Citlalli A., Maritza M.<br><br>- What you give is what they're going to take in; give positive reinforcements so they can give positive reinforcements as well.<br>- Siegel stated that adolescents "use the focus of their attention to reinforce the parts of their brains that they want to hold onto," so it reinforces the need even more to be a role model for them.&nbsp;<br>- With how tumultuous adolescents' hormones can be, their behavior can easily be written off; make a safe space for them to give them the opportunity to change and become the person they want to be.&nbsp;<br>- Words and actions stay with students, so we need to make sure that we are all practicing kindness to negate a pessimistic attitude within the students. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Members: Wesley G, Valeria O, Raquel G, Sean G, Ryan G.<br><br>One way the video informs our interactions with adolescents moving forward is regarding the removal of brain synapses for specialization.&nbsp; This process hones in an adolescents interests and life skills, and as a teacher or educator we would want to provide resources or advice for them to pursue those interests.&nbsp; This can be through integrating pop culture and their interests to keep attention span.<br><br>Understanding the scientific aspect of their development helps us empathize with their learning experience and therefore to provide an adequate response.</div>]]></description>
