From natural disasters to terrorist attacks the world has suffered great losses. While we haven't been responsible for every catastrophe, such as the many hurricanes that have occurred, they still have had a large impact on the lives of many. There seems to be a pattern in how these events are occurring. It all starts with some sort of difference of opinion followed by a violent response that takes the lives of many. When these events occur it can come as a shock to the older generations who have experienced less day-to-day misfortunes. However, teenagers and young adults were raised in this kind of society that these events are accepted as the norm.
