My Summer:

Over the summer I got to move back to my hometown Othello, WA. I spent a lot of time with my family, went on a lot of walks with my dog, and I got to go hiking for the very first time at Colchuck Lake. It was a crazy experience, but it was definitely one for the books!

I am currently placed in Ritzville Grade School in a second-grade classroom. I been placed in Ritzville since last school year. My experience there has been amazing, I have made great connections with my students and get along very well with my mentor teacher and staff.

Graduation:

I will be wrapping up my last quarter during the winter, and start my full-time student teaching the spring of 2025. This means I will be closing my chapter here at Eastern Washington University and graduating the Spring of 2025. I am truly excited to start a new journey becoming a teacher.

Future Plans:

After I graduate, my plans are to move back to my hometown. I would like to start off small with subbing as a full-time teacher and a paraeducator. After that I would like to get my Masters in Early Childhood Education and eventually find a full-time teaching position.
