I can see the benefit of all leadership styles (even autocratic) dependent on the situation and context.
In a situation where, for instance, health and safety measures or speed of response is needed then a slightly more autocratic style may be beneficial.
However, my preferred style would be a mixture of participative/democratic and transformational. I feel it is important to be transparent and visible as a leader as well as motivational.

Collaborating with staff may enable them to feel greater levels of empowerment and job satisfaction, potentially leading to increased productivity. Also, staff may have great ideas for the organisation that would not get heard unless there is an inclusive and supportive culture evident.

Transformational because I believe you need to communicate with your team to make sure the given tasks gets done to its highest standard. Additionally, I believe in focusing on smaller goals in order to complete the overall task more efficiently.
Democratic because listening and using ideas input by other team members is important. It gives others a sense of importance and contribution to the task.

This is because I enjoy hearing other peoples opinions and would also like to have someone managing me with a democratic leadership style. Hearing others opinions help me to make decisions and to gain ideas as a group and not just on my own. The democratic leadership style helps everyone in the team to feel included and boosts the teams satisfaction with the work they all helped contribute to.

I believe my leadership style is transactional. This is because as a leader to accomplish a goal as a team you have to be able to set targets as well as rewards. By giving out rewards your employers will work harder and will feel motivated to reach the same goal. On the other hand i also feel like i am Participative/Democratic as i believe everyone's opinion matters. This will also boost team members confidence and will also make them feel important.Taken their opinion into consideration is very important.

From previous experience working in groups, I have shown that I consistently follow the transformational style as I like to keep on track with everyones progress. Despite this, I have an understanding that an autocratic style may work best in certain situations.
