Dr. Charles Humble developed the company's proprietary technology known as the Computer Voice Stress Analyzer (CVSA) in the late 1980s, and soon after began selling it to law enforcement agencies and training officers on how to use the technology. The CVSA is able to detect deception in voice patterns with an accuracy rate of 98 percent and is used by numerous local and state police departments, as well as the US Military Special Forces. Dr. Charles Humble began working on the CVSA while serving as president at Humble and Associates, where he trained law enforcement and private sector companies on how to use the Psychological Stress Analyzer system. In addition, he performed electronic sweeps for listening devices for various clients. Prior to pursuing entrepreneurial interests in forensic voice analysis, he worked as an officer with the Indianapolis Police Department and was a sergeant in the US Army. Awarded an honorary PhD from Indiana Christian University, Dr. Humble also holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the school, and completed an associate's degree in criminology at Indiana University.
