I would have to introduce a friend to my parents before I go out to hang out. The same rules still apply with my father cause he was raised very strict but with my mother she is more lenient with where I go, who I go with, and what time I leave or return.

Whenever I ask to go out with a friend, my parents have to meet the child and talk to their parents to make sure that they are okay with it.  This is very common because kids can get hurt, and if their parents don't know where they are, then they will be worried.
