My work experience took place in a post production VFX company called NineteenTwenty,they are based in central London.

For the 6 days i was at the company i was lucky enough to be sent out to other surrounding companies in different areas of the advertising industry.This means that i saw different aspects of media and became knowledgable of roles i didn't know existed before. The other companies i visited were - St. Luke's Communications (Advertising Agency), 1st Ave Machine (Mixed media production) and Factory Studios (Sound studio). 

Throughout the week I was able to shadow the roles of post production runners, witness sound technicians record and adapt voice overs for adverts, witness a product photoshoot for very.com and collect some market research of Youtube creators to be featured in a web series. 

Overal my work experience was very interesting and informative as there wasn't a day where I wasn't learning something different or understanding what it is like in various professional workplaces. I would recommend work experience at all places i visited as it has given me a great amount of insight and influenced me to work harder towards my ideal career. I was able to talk to some people that have worked in the advertising industry for over 20 years, and everyone said that they started as a runner and worked their way up in the industry.
