A Tree in the Garden

In the evening, when the sun starts to set (very late here relative to New York--around 8:30-9), the garden surrounding the castle has beautiful views of the sunset on the water, reflecting the surrounding trees.

The Egyptian Goose

Pictured is a lone Egyptian goose I've seen most days during our time here. He often scares the ducks that float around the inner moat and then keeps to the garden or the outer moat. He seems lonely but at peace.

I've taken many walks around the castle and admired the moat. Of all the places we've seen, this is the one that's most dear to me, and I'll miss my respites watching the birds and fish.
