Greetings everyone. So, after a few researches, I believe it is acceptable that with the usage of IOT, hospital staff can monitor their patients remotely and efficiently. According to Ananda Mohon Ghosh(IEEE Xplore,2016), technologies make it easier for staff to monitor the patients health condition by sharing the health information to the doctors, nurses or specialists. Afterall, the hospital staff cannot monitor all patients in one hospital at once, right? They have their own priorities such as a critical patient or a VIP

Reference:
1) Halder, D, Hossain S K A, Ghosh, A,M (2016, May 14). Remote Health Monitoring System Through IOT.

Hello,so let's we learn about this topic. So, the main idea of technology in healthcare is to build connection between doctors and patients by using a smart device, without restrictions. Actually, the patients might open up better, helping the doctors have a better faster diagnosis. This leads to an empowerment of the consumer, with practically no inefficiencies, and the doctor invariably makes informed decisions through better connectivity, precision centered monitoring and information gathering. In conclusion, healthcare and IOT is about improve the care and treatment of patients, equipment maintenance, and the way hospital operates with the security and innovation of Internet of Things (IoT) healthcare solutions. Thank you.

APA REFERENCE:
1) Meola, A. (2016, December 19). Internet of Things in healthcare: Information technology in health.

After we know about what is IOT and it's function in healthcare, now let's move to the advantages of IOT in healthcare. The first advantage is improving the disease management that provides more convenience of patient experience. As example, it is possible to record the movements of the patient, when he presses the call button, goes to the bathroom, hits the bed alarm, etc. The information pertaining to each activity is recorded by a device that evaluates the number of instances at which the patient needs assistance. Next, second advantage is evolve patient care in terms of allow patients to receive care away from their hospital at home, elsewhere around the world. With wearable sensors and service solutions, doctors can reduce readmissions and enable proactive care. In conclusion, there a many advantages of IOT in healthcare but these two points are the most biggest advantages.

APA REFERENCE
1) Cabot Technology Solution. (2018, March 6). You may be familiar with the Medtronic and other commercial systems available in the U.S. and in Europe – but there is another option out there for those in the diabetes community who are ready to make change for themselves. The DIY movement is taking the diabetes community by storm, starting with the Open Artificial Pancreas System (OpenAPS) that allows everyday Type 1-ers to use their insulin pumps and CGMs in order to close the loop.

APA REFERENCE
1) Dana, M.

There are many new patients such as the peacemakers that also use this IoT technology because it makes them easier to monitor. It can be monitored by simply sending a Wi-Fi signal to the device. Doctors can keep track of their patients’ implanted devices as well as receive alerts if the device reports a problem. However, there is a possibility that the security and the safety of the collected data will be in danger. This is because, as the technology improves, so does the hackers.
