         <description><![CDATA[<div>there were different people of different statuses who have either more expensive and intricate or cheap and common items. as in people that lived in forbidden hill were the royalty and more important people compared to the people that lived in emperors place as it was a trading port were things more cheap there. because we found a bowl that was green and made of ceramic and it was also glazed which means it came from a more expensive place: forbidden hill. it also had a quite intricate design and emerald green color. </div>]]></description>

         <title>I can infer that Singapore before 1819 was a trading port and many items were traded between Singapore and other countries like China. This is evident in the Chinese coins found. As you can see, there are Chinese words engraved on the coin. This tells me that the Chinese used these coins as their currency.</title>
