I chose this one to be the most important because back in the day certain people couldn't do certain things. They had restrictions. They couldn't do the basic things such as go to the same bathrooms as white people, go on the front of the bus, live in a neighborhood with whites. In the story this is what the people had to deal with. “What’s the matter with you all! I didn’t make this world! It was give to me this way! Hell, yes, I want pearls ‘round my wife’s neck. Ain’t she supposed to wear no pearls? Somebody tell me—tell me, who decides which women is suppose to wear pearls in this world.
