Conflict: One of the many conflicts in this story is with Georgie’s  father Mr.Parker. When Georgie’s mother died her father didn’t want Georgie to go to Blainford Academy like her mother had planned.  When Georgie was auditioning to get into Blainford her father kept trying to get her to go somewhere.When Georgie get into Blandford her father doesn’t have enough money to send Georgie’s horse Tyro to Blainford with her.

Conflict: Another conflict in this book is with a girl named Daisy King who Georgie competes against in the Cross-country events Georgie competes in.  Daisy is a bully to Georgie. After Georgie failed her eventing audition Daisy made fun of Georgie.

Conflict:  The last conflict in this book is with a girl named Kennedy Kirkwood who Georgie meant at Blainford Academy. Kennedy is a show jumper and decided to try cross country. Kennedy is always trying to put Georgie down and is also trying to get Georgie to fail the cross country class.
