Hi Celia, I have attended your COMM1110 class in 19-20 sem 1, which was an uneasy semester for all of us because the university suddenly ended the semester. I enjoyed your class very much. As an introduction course, COMM1110 taught me basic theories and understanding with up-to-dated cases and examples. I liked analysing those cases together during class and let us easier to understand. It provided me with a foundation in journalism and communication fields>< I am thankful that I have been one of your students and gone through a difficult time together last year. Hi Celia! Thank you for teaching one of the last courses I have to take to minor my comm courses. I really enjoy your lectures because you don't only focus on the content, but also your students mental health. I think that a lot of professors don't necessarily put too much focus on that. I think that during your lectures you also provide life-long lessons that students should learn from, for example making sure that our mental health is ok, being able to socialize and not only studying. I hope that your future will bring you happiness in whatever you choose to do after teaching at CUHK :)

Hi professor Celia, I just wanted to say thank you for giving me such an amazing lecture time that I look forward to every week!

This is my first time having a COMM course as a non-journalism major, and the discussions in class with the interactive components in the lectures are certainly a refresher from my usual major course. While it is sad that we couldn't have an in person course experience, I personally do not regret holding back and wait to take this class until my final year, at all.

It has been my pleasure to attend this class in my final year. It's probably one of the most fascinating classes that I've ever had throughout my years in uni (I'm a business student). Celia, thank you so much for your teaching this semester. Not joking, you are really one of the most caring professor I have ever met so far. You will consider our situation when you are allocating the quiz and paper. Most importantly, I believe you find a really good balance in avoiding too much unnecessary items while ensuring that we all understand the class materials. Last but not least, you are a very warm person and always encourage us to calmly analyze the all-around effect of different things, which is crucial in this day and age.
