3. The head of the Beast was almost a deer head. They ultimately decided against it because they thought it wouldn't look as ferocious.

Cinema: This movie has a very large cinematic impact and is considered a classic. This movie served as inspiration to many artists, for example Phillip Glass who created an opera inspired by this film. Jean Concteau used innovative lighting, story telling, cinematography, and personified candelabras to tell this version of the story. 

Story Synopsis: A prince is transformed into a beast until he can learn how to love and be loved.
