Waste is garbage. Garbage is anything unwanted or no longer needed. When garbage is in a landfill, it either takes a long time to break down or it doesn't break down at all. Organics is mostly food scraps and plants. You can put paper and napkins and tissues in the organics. Recycling is kinda' like reusing. They break down the item and make it something new. What happens after they take your bag off the curb? They get sorted at the MRF by tin cans, colour and much more. They also take off electronics so that no one gets hurt. Then they bale it. They make bales to push out all the air so that it can fit in the truck that takes the bale to be made into something new. Hazardous waste is like dangerous oils and electronics. You can take your hazardous waste to a Recycling Depot or the City Of Edmonton Eco Stations. Take your medicines to a Pharmacy. Body Wash is recyclable. Food can go in organics. Recycle food bottles. Diapers goes in the garbage. Toothbrush goes in the garbage. Paper Towel tube goes in recycle. Straws go in the garbage. Envelope goes in the recycle. Magazines go in the recycle. All bags go in the garbage. Orange peel goes in the organics. Newspaper goes in the recycle. Styrofoam goes in the garbage. A VHS tape goes in the garbage. Milk cartons go in the recycle. Tin cans go in the recycle. Utensils go in the garbage. You can reduce your waste by not using as much. You can use both sides of the paper. There are also 3 solar panelled buildings in St. Albert.

Waste is many things like old food peels, plastic, and organic items. A landfill is a big pile of garbage and buried underground. I takes a long time to breakdown or doesn't break down at all. Becomes lechate. Organics are old food, food peels, tissues, napkins, shredded paper, old leftovers from a meal. Compost is food for plants. You can also put old greasy pizza boxes. Glass, paper. tin cans picked up by magnets. Recyclables go in a bag. Companies buy the bail and make it into a new product. Hazardous waste is things that are dangerous. Hazardous categories, Corrosive, explosive, flammable, and poisonous. They are taken to special facilities, Medicine is taken back to farmacies. Curbside pickup for bigger items that may be harder to take to a dump. Most plastics are put into garbage.

Garbage can be anything that is not wanted anymore. When your done with it you should put the items inside a brown garbage can.
Some waste break down and some others don't.
They try to make sure to not give anything to people that is dangerous.
Dinner waste is great for the green bin. When your done with your food you can just scrape off the plate.
You can reuse paper 3 time before its not good to use
recycling is another way to throw out waste, recycling can be paper cardboard glass and even some plastic.
Tvs, computers and even skis dont belong in the recycling.
but some people think its ok and thats not good for the environment.
Hazardous waste can be tvs, phones, comuters and even cables.
Hazadous means:
-corrosive
-explosive
-flammable
-poisonous

Even if a styrophome package has a triangle shaped like a recycling sign on the back of it it is still garbage
phones ,cables and some other things dont belong in any of the bins, you should bring it to a hazardous waste dump.
you shouldnt use singe use plastic and if you do then reuse it, if you dont its bad for the ocean because it creates large dumps in the middle of the ocean.
any thing that is reusable can go in the recycling.
anything that is not reusable go's in the garbage.
anything that can be made into soil belongs in the compost.
