I hope we can be friends :)
I do choose Anna as my cartoon character, because I think we have the same personality.
Anna, all of us know that she is very goofy but at the same time she is the one of optimistic person. Even if she looks unfriendly, but in fact she was just shy. She always puts others first even when she had to make sacrifices (but for me let us sacrifice together while doing group assignment/ assessment ya Haha FIGHTING !). Plus, she also used to be cheerful, easy-going yet friendly person especially when you already be her close friend then you will know how over friendly she is. Thankyou for reading hihi :')

Even though he’s in a serious situation he still manage to be relaxed. That personality of him really resembles me, even when i know that i have an assignment to be submitted in a short period of time i still manage to watch and finished few episodes of my Korean drama yet still manage to finish my assignment right on time. ( hopefully i will manage to change this personality of mine. It is really dangerous to be too chill and relax in a serious time and i think this was my toxic trait ) hewhew~~~

That’s all from me. thank you for reading! I hope that we will get along well until the end of the semester/degree! Best of luck my friends! ❤️

Vivian is a shy girl who has trouble talking to other people, and as a result had no friends. But, after being partnered with Sofia for a project for art class, the two of them eventually became best friends and Sofia helped Vivian become more confident, and overcome her fear of being around and talking to others. To be honest , i'm a shy girl in real life but i really enjoy if i meet those people who show their interest in talking with me :D and i guarantee you will find im a bit talkative than you ever think hihi. Err wait, i guess not really talkative la, so so. like bila perlu then i talk. Gittew . hehe.

Yes, I agree with the article because even though Malaysia's financial system remained unfazed against economic financial shocks, it still affect most families that unable to cope without increase their debt with the bank. I support bank decision on extended debt repayment assistance to customers while halting their lending activities despite high risk that causes by the absence of borrower's data that were used to determine their credit worthiness. The bank able to stand on their ground by implementing few programs in order to prevent credit losses. Thus, by loan repayment assistance able to provide support to miserable households that were hit hard with this crisis, and able to help economics and financial to recover slowly. As a result, it is expected the economics to recover fully and the amount of borrowers who applied for loan repayment assistance to decline.

Banks are still able to have sufficient finances to absorb potential losses in severe macroeconomic and financial conditions as well as continue to support economic recovery.
I also agree banks continue to increase provisions for credit losses to help traders who are experiencing a severe economic downturn. many business sectors are affected by this situation but are still recovering and recovering.
I also support the repayment assistance program as this can help in a material increase in loan defaults especially to small enterprises. the program also helps affected households to repay their debts.

I agree with the article that state Malaysia's financial system remain resilient against economic, financial stocks. In this pandemic situation, it is really affecting the country but financial system in Malaysia still can manage to provided their services which is loan and manage to face credit risk despite many challenges in updating the assessment of borrowers' creditworthiness. The bank was capable of carrying its strength by introducing a few procedures to reduce bank charges. Other than that, because of a few crisis that happen toward households, bank can help household through loan repayment and capable of assisting economic and financial recovery. By that, the households can repay their debt to the bank.

In my point of view, I do agree with the article statement. It is relieved to know that Malaysia's financial system still remain resilient against economic and financial shocks due to the pandemic Covid-19 . But, it is significant to be aware and be prepared enough as we can't predict what future might hold. For instance, many firms in economics sectors had been hit harder especially in tourism sectors. Although this crisis caused firms faced difficulty as they faced huge losses due to the movement restriction order made by government, i strongly believe soon our economy will recovery slowly as the travel ban was slowly lifted . I also agree and support with bank decision on extended debt repayment assistance to its debtors as it help those households that were affected by this crisis to pay for their debt . It is already hard enough for the debtors to survive during the movement control order(mco) phase and it is a relieved for them as the loan repayment assistance extended by banks continued to provide support to distressed household borrowers, staving off further damage to their finances.

We know that the Covid-19 pandemic previously caused the entire economy to stopped. Even in a challenge to improve back all the sector, it's encouraging to hear that Malaysia's financial system is still regarded sturdy in the face of economic challenges. In terms of my personal opinion, Malaysia needs to be reminded of future economic shifts that can happen anytime. Our country should always be aware and prepare a really strong plan for anything happen for now on. For example, hoping that the government and banks to work together to find a better solutions to help our economics and financial status be always on track.

While this helps to temporarily support borrowers' debt-servicing ability, a more established economic recovery remains critical to restore borrowers' long-term financial health.

Based on the issue, i agree that Malaysia's financial system remained adaptable against economic and financial shocks although the degree of Covid-19 pandemic is uncertainty. However, Bank have to make a proper plan and always be aware for unpredictable situation that might happen in the future.

It is good to know that the BNM have their own additional measures to further support SMEs and individuals affected by the COVID-19 Outbreak. For example, bank extended debt repayment assistance to households and businesses that were affected by the most recent movement restrictions while sustaining lending activities. This can reduce the burden of those who are affected and a chance for them to return to health and strength to recover from financial losses.

Regarding to the article, I wholeheartedly agree with the statement that Malaysia's banking system has proven to be resilient to the effects of economic and financial instability. Currently, the Covid-19 pandemic is having a significant impact on the financial and economic well-being of the country. This financial shocks situation unevenly felt by many people who comes from many different path of life. However, the Malaysian financial system is still able to provide its services, which include loan provision, and to maintain credit risk even with all these challenges associated with updating the evaluations of borrowers' ability to repay. A loan moratorium also was implemented in Malaysia due to the COVID-19. As announced by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and banking sector, borrowers' moratorium support has been changed into borrowers' repayment assistance. This indicates helping individuals and businesses whose income is severely affected by Covid-19. BNM could be remain stable as long as the borrowers still paying for the loan in the long term. As a result, Malaysia has to be warned of possible future economic upheavals. From now on, our country ought to be constantly alert and ready with a realistic plan. As expecting that the government and banks will collaborate to improve our economic and financial situation.

I agree with the article that Malaysia's financial system has remained resilient to economic and financial shocks, allowing banks to provide further debt repayment help to people and businesses affected by the recent movement restrictions while continuing to lend. Similarly, despite significant challenges in updating assessments of borrowers' creditworthiness, insurers and takaful operators remained profitable and well positioned to assist individuals and businesses by providing flexibility for premium and contribution payments that would maintain their protection coverage even while facing credit risk management. Repayment assistance programmes, as well as government and bank (BNM) support measures, have so far prevented a significant increase in loan defaults. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are coping better with renewed movement control limitations thanks to cash flow relief from deferred loan repayments, as well as a positive impact from cost-cutting initiatives and greater digital use. Bank loan repayment aid continues to help distressed household borrowers, preventing further damage to their finances and, as a result, to the economy and financial system as a whole. While this is assisting borrowers in temporarily repairing their debt-servicing ability, a more established economic recovery is still required to restore borrowers' long-term financial health.
Importantly, good underwriting standards continued to underpin new bank lending to the household sector. Banks' exposure to higher-risk household borrowers with narrower buffers remained modest as well.

Based on the article, I think Malaysia's financial system are quite resilient despite being hit by the unexpected hurdled which is the covid-19 pandemic. The article explains how the banks in Malaysia are able to cope with our current situation with all the movement restrictions imposed by the government. A lot of people and businesses are affected by the movement restrictions and are facing financial problems. However, the banks are still able to provide their services such as loan repayment assistance which has help to aid a lot of people's financial strain temporarily. This proves that the banking sector are able to withstand any problem even in a bad economic condition.

As i read the article at first I'm agree with the article but then suddenly i changed my mind as i think about bank itself . As we know that bank job were to provide or lend money and the money will never end ( duit tidak akan habis ) but when the pandemic hit us for 2 years now its effected not just the people but also the bank and moreover our own country. For the bank its continued to increase provisions for credit losses in anticipation of a deterioration in assets quality as repayment assistance programmes were gradually unwound. the loan loss coverage ratio remained around historically high levels reflecting the higher degree of stringency in the provisioning practice of banks.
we know that bank MONEY WILL NEVER FINISH as the bank keep receiving money from the loaner but now bank keep provide money to people but receive very very small money in return . what do think will happen to the bank and our economic if this things keep and keep going ? its not just affecting the people, the bank itself but also will affect our economy. so i was disagree with the article as i know pandemic were really hard for us especially in term of money but its more harder for the banks to keep thinking how to recover all the losses they gain.

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused our economic sectors get worsen, it is because of the movement restriction that has been imposed by the government. Because of this, lot of business sector has been affected. Not only that, but also it has affected people’s sources of income. From this situation, we know that a lot of loan borrowers faced challenges or having trouble in paying their loan or debts from the banks.

From the article, it’s explain how the banks in Malaysia as well as the government cope with the challenges that faced by the borrowers. As I read the article the action that took by BNM is really helping. Especially in providing the loan repayments assistance service and banks also continued to lend to viable SMEs with various financing guarantee schemes remaining available to complement direct bank lending. This help the business sector to recover instead of stopping their business as well as the other sectors and small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

This is a proof that even in a bad economic situation banks still manage to cope, handle and find a way to solve the situation.

BNM plays the major roles to promote and maintain monetary and financial stability - by promoting a sound and efficient Malaysian financial system - by maintaining the strength of financial institutions and formidable financial infrastructure to withstand any adverse economic situation.

Reference: Financial Market & Banking Operations Textbook of Ibrahim Abdul Rahman & Siti Norbaya Mohd Rashid

It is also a benchmark of financial sovereignty of the country. 2. Central bank also responsible for formulation of credit policy of the country, they have the right to tighten policy or vice versa depending on the economic situation of the country. 3. To ensure the financial stability or money supply of the country by lowering rates 4. Central banks also play a role in managing and regulating currency exchange rates because all the foreign exchange transactions of a country are routed through the central bank of the country and all the expenses in foreign currency whenever required are incurred though the agency of this bank. 5.
In my opinion, the central bank is important because it acts as the advisor to the government of Malaysia in terms of financial institutions. The central bank of Malaysia has several purposes mainly to help our country to promote monetary and financial stability. Mainly, the central bank of Malaysia acts as a banker to the country and manages all financial matters. Plus, the central bank also has more other major purpose such as to prevent unlawful activites such as money laundering by strictly monitoring unusual activities and by reducing the risks.

According to my perspective, central banks, as in Malaysia, are important because their primary function is to issue currency, act as banker and adviser to the government of Malaysia, and regulate the country's financial institutions, credit system, and monetary policy, among other things. In other words, it is important as a vital component of a country's economic and financial system. The central bank is also significant since it serves as an independent body that is in charge of controlling, regulating, and stabilising the country's monetary and banking structure, as well as ensuring the country's financial stability.
Furthermore, central banks also play a critical role in safeguarding the long-term stability of the economy and financial markets. As an illustration, they pursue a low and stable level of inflation through monetary policy implementation. Following the global financial crisis, central banks have increased the number of tools in their toolkits to cope with threats to financial stability and to control volatile exchange rates, among other things. Because of this, it is possible to think of a central bank as a financial entity that is responsible with monitoring and overseeing a country's monetary system and monetary policy.

Central Bank are essential institutions which typically focused on keeping prices stable, maximizing employment, and helping a country’s economy grow. They have to ensure stability of the financial systems in the economy by monitoring lending standards across the economy very closely, as well as making sure that there is easy access to credit when required. They also are the lender of last resort to commercial banks and the government. So when the government requires money and there is no other way or access to the necessary funds, the central bank can be that lender of last resort. Other than that, Central Bank is the setting monetary policy. Monetary policy has a wide array of individual tools, and the key one is setting interest rates. Lower interest rates mean easier access to credit for households, businesses and anyone in the economy who needs a loan. Higher interest rates mean the opposite which it is more expensive and limited access to credit. When economic times are tough and there is slower economic growth, central banks have the responsibility to reduce interest rates to make sure that there is easier access to credit in the economy.

Bond also benefited from international investors with a higher risk appetite seeking out higher return fixed-income assets. The benefit that can be seen on this article are high risk and high return. This means that if things go well, high-risk investments can produce high returns.

As can be seen, Malaysian capital markets are still thriving in 2021, providing opportunities for all investors, including overseas investors. It demonstrates of an improvement in capital market fundraising operations, with Malaysian bonds benefiting from international investors with a stronger risk appetite looking for higher return fixed-income assets in emerging nations. While corporate bonds had AAA-rated, AA-rated, and A-rated securities with a 5-year maturity. The lesson we can learn from it is that now is the best moment to put our money in the market in order to get a greater return. The difficulty is that if you want a higher return, one must be willing to accept risks, or one can buy government bonds, which are considered low-risk assets.

However, Bank Negara Malaysia need to be more aware with unpredictable situation might happen in future. I am very happy that BNM have good alternative during this Covid-19 pandemic which is Repayment assistance programmer implemented deferred loan repayments that help mall and medium enterprises (SMEs) cope better. this is helping to temporarily support borrowers’ debt-servicing capacity, a more entrenched economic recovery remains key to restoring longer-term financial health of borrowers

Malaysia's capital markets remain vibrant which they raise long term funds on this market. The funds raised were mainly used to finance infrastructure projects, new business activities and working capital. In the face of solidifying bond rates in advanced countries where major central banks maintained an accommodating monetary policy stance against transitory inflation, Malaysian MGS and corporate bond yields were usually higher across all tenures. The lesson is we need to take challenge on investment. We cannot expect higher return for all time because the investor only choose good place to lend their money also property.
