Egyptians used sandals when walking but when travelling long distances,they took them off and wore them when they arrived to their desired destination.

When ancient Egyptians used chariots,it wasn't as popular as walking.Chariots were pretty expensive to keep and only served the military and the elite.

Ferries were used when the river was to wide since the river was filled with hippos and crocodiles.

Donkeys and horses were used at long distances and when egyptians were all worn out.
They were also used to carry things such as foods/clothes.

They aren't that popular but
Sledges and carts are also used.
