         <description><![CDATA[<div>In Egypt walking,riding ferries,riding donkeys and horses, and chariots are the most common ways of transportation.<br><br>Egyptians used sandals when walking but when travelling long distances,they took them off and wore them when they arrived to their desired destination.<br><br>When ancient Egyptians used chariots,it wasn't as popular as walking.Chariots were pretty expensive to keep and only served the military and the elite.<br><br>Ferries were used when the river was to wide since the river was filled with hippos and crocodiles.<br><br>Donkeys and horses were used at long distances and when egyptians were all worn out.<br>They were also used to carry things such as foods/clothes.<br><br>They aren't that popular but<br>Sledges and carts are also used.<br><br><a href="http://www.reshafim.org.il/ad/egypt/timelines/topics/means_of_transportation.htm">http://www.reshafim.org.il/ad/egypt/timelines/topics/means_of_transportation.htm</a><br><br>In Egypt there must've been a way to get around.Good thing they had the Nile River to travel on.<br><br>They mainly traveled  through river on papyrus rafts.<br>Egyptians had enormous rafts <br>for the purpose of shipping large amounts of items.<br><a href="https://schmidtancientegypt.weebly.com/movement--travel.html">https://schmidtancientegypt.weebly.com/movement--travel.html</a></div>]]></description>
