Call of the Wild was published in 1903 by Jack London and was set in Canada. The story is about Buck - a big, fluffy, blonde dog. After passing hard-times and achieving many milestones, by listening to the call of nature, he finally finds himself in Alaska - a cold and wild place.

After that, Hal, a young gold finder, brought the sled team and exploited them. John Thornton, an experienced outdoorsman, saved Buck from Hal and they became stuck with each other.
