All good engineers go through many designs before selecting THE design they make a prototype of. And, even then sometimes, they FAIL! And, they have to start all over again.

Thinks to keep in mind:

1. Keep it simple.

2. Don't spend too long on the sketches.

3. When you're finished..Share with your group and Ask Questions!

Example questions:

How will the device work?

What materials will you use?

Has this been created before?

What challenges do you think you'll face?

How can you make it better?

How can you clarify your design?

4. Be positive! Be a Leader!

You've developed an idea.

You've created a thumbnail.

Now it's time to create your blueprint before you can make your prototype.

Go to the "Creation" Page of your packet, it's time to create!

Read the directions and get started on drawing and labeling your prototype!
