I created this logo to display my initials, L and T, in the centre. The two white shapes represent those letters, with the T being abstracted to achieve balance. I decided to do this because it is recognisable as the letter T without the top right line. This abstraction was inspired by the icon activity. The font of these letters implement slightly curved corners to achieve a less jagged feel, creating a smoother logo. The black outline around the white shapes are utilised to create an effect, replicating the style of a comic book, to reflect the comic-like characters and designs I create. Once again, I reflected my style by only using black, white, and red colours. Outlines of black and white were added to create a cartoon or sticker-like effect. I converted the image of myself to monotone to remove the natural colour of my skin in Adobe Photoshop to achieve this. I also removed my eye on the right in Adobe Photoshop as an abstracted representation on how I find myself lost in my imagination and see things through the perspective of characters in worlds that do not exist. Therefore, I added a semi circle shape consisting of smaller semi circles in the colours red, white, and black as a cartoon version of an eye on the left side of the self map. To achieve the purpose of a self map, I added a star map, on the left half of my face to further connote my connection with separate universes in my imagination. Colour Choice: I feel that I have a strong connection with the colour red, mainly because it is visually pleasing, but it connects to me in other ways, such as being the featured colour in the flag of both of my ethnicities; Japanese and Indonesian. I was also put in the red house team in both primary and secondary school. This is the main reason why I have chosen red to be my main colour scheme.
