Education is very important to us so I put books in the middle. We also bond while playing golf and watching Boston sports so I put those. I found this funny vegetarian "flag" online; I have been a vegetarian for over 11 years and I believe that animals and the planet deserve to be treated with kindness. I put pictures of Paris and New York because both of those cities have been significant to me, and I think that travel is an important way to learn about the world. Brown = Identification as a member of the BIPOC community,  reflective of soil and the premise that we all come from ashes and will return to ashes
Black = The color that is universal in that all colors are absorbed (inclusive) ; we add colors to make things black and remove them to make them white. 
Green =  A symbol of vegetation as primary producers and sources of our nourishment
Orange = Representative of the Sun as the provider of energy and life on our planet
Blue = Representative of Water a requirement for life on our planet

Foot = symbol of my belief in the importance of physical activity
Helix = symbol of DNA and of my belief in the importance of science

Banner = "mens et manus" translates to mind and hands and is the motto of M.I.T. my undergraduate school, symbolic of my belief in the importance of education that is meant to result in practical service to our communities.

I put the Irish flag because I did my DNA ancestry and I was surprised to learn that I'm 4% Irish. it's not much but I thought it is something that I would research more and look into. I love food, especially Soul Food, and I love to share it with friends and family. I identify with Black, but doing my DNA ancestry, I have found I'm mostly Congolese (blue flag with red stripe and yellow star) and that my DNA also comes from the Southwest region of Africa too. I love movies and tv shows and have a long list of my favorites. There really isn't a flow to this flag because who I am is a mixture of many things and cultures, but I'm blessed to be multifaceted.
