Flashback:

Maria's mind drifts back to a time long ago, when she was just a child playing on the sandy shores of Puerto Escondido. She remembers the laughter of her friends, the warmth of the sun on her skin, the feeling of endless possibilities stretching out before her. But those carefree days are now but a distant memory, overshadowed by the specter of climate change.

She recalls the tales her grandfather used to tell – of coral reefs teeming with life, of forests alive with the chirping of birds, of a world untouched by human folly. It seems like a lifetime ago, a time before the mist descended and the whispers of the jungle grew ever louder.

During this flashback, Optimus recounts the ancient conflict between the Autobots, who are defenders of peace and freedom, and the Decepticons, who seek power and control over the universe. Optimus explains how their home planet, Cybertron, was once a thriving civilization until it was torn apart by war. The flashback includes scenes of epic battles between the Autobots and Decepticons, showcasing the destruction and devastation caused by their conflict.

If they don’t keep their eyes closed and covered, they won’t survive, either.

We, as the viewer, are never sure they’ll all make it to their destination, so we’re on the edge of our seats, knowing the stakes and feeling the danger drawing nearer.

The old elevator lurched to a halt between floors. The dim bulb flickered, casting grotesque shadows on the peeling wallpaper. Sarah pressed the button for the lobby again, her heart hammering a frantic rhythm against her ribs. Silence.

A metallic groan echoed from the unseen depths of the shaft. The bulb sputtered and died, plunging her into complete darkness. Sweat trickled down her back, cold despite the stale air. She fumbled for her phone, her fingers trembling as she dialed for help. The line was dead.

A faint scratching sound came from above, like claws scraping metal. Sarah squeezed her eyes shut, willing it to stop. Then, a low, guttural moan. Her breath caught in her throat. Trapped. Alone. The scratching grew louder, closer.

Suddenly, a high-pitched whine pierced the silence. The elevator lurched, the emergency lights flooding the car with a sterile white glow. The scratching stopped. Sarah's hand flew to her chest, relief washing over her in waves. The doors slid open, revealing a brightly lit hallway.

She stumbled out, legs shaky, and looked back at the open elevator. There, etched into the metal ceiling above the open shaft, were three long, parallel gashes.

The wind howled through the bare trees, shrouding the old mansion in a cloak of mystery. Maria walked along the stone path, feeling suspense take over her being. A dark omen loomed over her, as if the past was about to unearth its darkest secrets.

When he reached the door of the mansion, a shiver ran down his spine. He knew that his visit would not be easy, that he would face the accusatory gaze of those who had inhabited those walls centuries ago.

As he entered the mansion, the flashbacks of his childhood returned with force. He remembered the laughter and games in the now silent hallways, but also the whispers of the servants and the rumors about the tragedy that had marked the family.

In the darkness of the main room, a figure was silhouetted against the frame of a window. It was the old butler, who with a trembling voice uttered a grim prediction: "The past always comes back to claim what belongs to you. Prepare to face the consequences of your actions, Miss Maria."

Inspired by the real case of the serial killer who was known as Zodiac, the film starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Mark Ruffalo tells the story of the journalists who received the strange letters from the murderer and who tried to discover his identity during the period in which he attacked several young couples in San Francisco. Only David Fincher could make the story so realistic and mysterious.
