In the beginning of WW1 the Ottoman empire sided with the central powers in hopes of keeping their empire together and stable. In the end the allies defeat the central powers resulting in a huge loss for the Ottomans. So the U.N came up with the idea of the palestine to be the place of refuge for the Jews. The nation was established, but the surrounding muslim dominated countries did not agree with this and immideatly attacked Israel. They were all defeated and Israel had a foothold in the middle east. This was formed to regulate the prices of oil and production quotas. The Taliban was nearly destroyed and the leader of Al Qaeda being killed in 2012 and now the U.S turned its guns to Suddam Hussein and his regime. In 2003 he was overthrown and eventually killed by his own people.
