Ida b felt scared at first bacause  everyone was watching her, but as she started to read, she felt as if she was no longer at school but within the book its self. On page 352, the author stated " I left that classroom and went into the story. I was in Alexandra's laboratory instead of school." She felt crowed so there was hardly any air. The only sound that came out were little peeps, like a baby bird chirping " Alexandra Potemkin and the Space Shuttle to Planet Z." This is how we know she felt nervous
