I read to my Kindergarteners ‘The
Trouble Maker’ for the Global Read Aloud but the animals were somewhat unfamiliar to them as we live in
the tropics. The children were interested in learning the difference between a
skunk and a raccoon. They were surprised at the twist at the end of the story and concluded
that the raccoon was the ‘real troublemaker’ since it took more items than the
boy. They wrote in their Journals about a time when they were ‘a troublemaker’.
I learnt a lot about my students from this! We also made a video response to
the book about our favorite part of the story was so check it out here! https://padlet.com/dedwards22/k55u7fqveoja Add your thoughts to our padlet too.–Kindergarten A & B – FBCS, Cayman Islands.

Just like the troublemaker on the book cover, we wrote a procedural text:-How to make a paper hat.
1.	First fold a sheet of paper in half.
2.	Next fold the 2 corners to the middle to make triangles.
3.	Then fold the 2 flaps back to make a brim.
4.	Finally decorate it.

Yes Gabe. We love the author David Shannon and read No David! & David goes to school.
